Only one side lights up

The shoes themselves are not bad. I did have to buy my son socks that come up higher because the back of the shoe was rubbing on his skin. And only one of the shoes lights up. It should be both shoes.

Lights don’t work

The shoes are good, but the lights don’t work, which was pretty upsetting for my 7 year old. They don’t make a lot of light up shoes for his size, so we were happy to find these, and then the lights didn’t work even slightly. :(

NOT typical Stride Rite quality!

I bought the same exact pair from our local "high-end" shoe store and they were fabulous! Lasted 9 months before the velcro came off. This pair didn't even last a month before the rubber soles wore through and the tips of the shoes wore clean through as well. The insole had a worn hole after a week. One shoe never lit up, even with pushing the power button. These never got wet and were always worn with cotton socks. No hard playing or bikes/skate boards/ sports, just typical walking. This pair wasn't worn nearly as much/often as my original pair. They look identical to the pair I bought at the shoe store 9 months prior to ordering these, but NOT the same quality, not even close. Save your money and buy from a local shoe store or buy a different brand. It's sad because Stride Rite has always served my family well for decades, until now. VERY disappointed in these shoes!

Love the design

This shoe is just overall cute! I love the little sprinkles on it, which reminds me of a cupcake. The lights are neat, although I think it's a bit confusing for a child to know how many times to press the on button to change the patterns. I bought these specifically because my daughter has very wide feet and she's going into the half sizes; i'm glad this is one of the few brands that acknowledges that! Also comfort is always there with Stride Rite so there's no complaints! I'm definitely a returning customer with this brand!

UPDATE: I have purchased many pairs of these shoes for my kiddo. They usually lose their battery life in a month or so but, recently I've been getting pairs where only 1 shoe lights up and this last pair...the LIGHTS DON'T WORK! I mean for $60 they should at least light up as advertised. Love these shoes for my kiddo! They can handle rough play. Most of all, the toe box and instep are wide enough for my kiddo's chubby feeties. Out of all the shoes my kiddo has, he wears these the most!

Good shoes

Good shoes nice material decent quality. They light up when you jump up and down but unfortunately only one of the shoes light up. They arrived faulty.
