GREAT!

This sunscreen is AMAZING! I've tried 2 Neutrogena sunscreens, CeraVe's sunscreen, and the generic Sun Boat and Walmart brand sunscreens. All those brands are super oily, burn my eyes/skin, make my skin feel gross and just aren't pleasant. The only downside is how small the bottles are. I got the biggest one and it will only last me maybe 3 months in the summer time, and its $20. I just started using SunBums and it's FANTASTIC! (And here's some reasons as to why) #1.) I have bangs, usually when I wear sunscreen my bangs get plastered to my forehead due to the oil-yness of the sunscreen, but SunBums sunscreen doesn't make my skin oily and my bangs are free moving and flowers! #2.) It's super easy to apply (like obviously cause it's sunscreen) but I mean in terms of it absorbing into your skin. Generally with other sunscreens I have to wipe some off of my face and rub it for like 20 seconds to get the white cast gone. But SunBum sunscreen just absorbs right into your skin and leaves no white cast! (I am a fair skinned ginger and it doesn't leave a white cast, I also have a darker skinned friend and it rubs right into his skin and doesn't leave a white cast either, not that he wears sunscreen, but I had him try it) #3.) It smells SO GOOD! It smells like Bananas, not like generic sunscreen, but just plain ol yummy Bananas! #4.) I have worn this all day and applied a couple times during the day, after wearing it for 2 days straight I have 0 acne from it! Usually after a day of wearing sunscreen I get like 4-12 pimples! #5.) It's super light on your face. Like i said before, it absorbs into your skin pretty quickly and it isn't too heavy. It's almost like a thicker CeraVe facial moisturizer feel & absorption wise. Some people have left a review saying that when their sunscreen came in it had a super close expiration date, my bottle had an expiration date set for October of 2024, I got it April of 2023. So that's plenty of time for me to get through this whole bottle, as I use sunscreen daily all throughout the year!

10/10 my go to sunscreen

I LOVE Sun Bum. All of their products. And this one right here is my all-time fav. Smells amazing, protects your skin like crazy, doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy/coated and blends sooo easily. Also, with my eczema prone skin - this product is great and doesn't leave me with hives or feeling itchy. Water-proof for the most part, sweat adds a bit of a different story if you sweat immediately after applying you might get some white sweat beads, but nothing crazy. I love Sun Bum and all of their stuff and would recommend to anyone &&& will continue to buy.

Great coverage

Doesn’t feel too heavy. No burn after being out in the sun for four days in a row in the Caribbean, but was smart about reapplying as needed as well as seeking shade. Spent a lot of time in the water and it seemed to hold up. Love that it’s reef safe, a must where we were.

I love the smell of it and it’s not too strong. Very thick so a little goes a long way and it goes on smoothly.

It works great!

I used this for my 7 month old when we went to the zoo, and he didn’t get any sunburn and it absorbed into the skin right away and wasn’t tacky or sticky. It didn’t have a smell either from what I could tell. I highly recommend it. I haven’t used it while he plays in the water so not sure how it will hold up. But so far worked well!!

Worked well for me.

I went to Costa Rica very close to equator and the sun is very potent there. The 1st day by the beach I loaded up on the spf70, bit I didn't get where I couldn't reach on my back. The next day I was really red only where I couldn't reach. Where the lotion was I tanned nicely. It works great for me. The tan lotion smelled nice. Some reviews mentionex the experation date close, but mine was a year and a half away.

I come back to Sun Bum time and again, it smells heavenly, absorbs nicely and stays on. The only choice is UV level which depends on the day

Out of date within a month - Sun Bum as a product great if in date!

Used Sun Bum for a year whilst over in Australia and was brilliant, so was excited when I could purchase it over in the UK. Went to use and shook the bottle as it states and found the consistency odd as it was starting to separate. Looked at the bottom, and has an expiry of 05/2020. When we received this 13th April. Would of thought I would of had a bit longer until the expiry, so definitely gutted.

Works well, and with a conscience.

We bought this as scuba divers and snorkellers concerned that regular sun creams have ingredients that are poisonous to aquatic creatures. After reading reviews about alternative, non-harmful creams - and looking to see which are available in the UK - we went for this one. I can certainly say it works as a factor 50 cream. Would recommend to anyone doing watersports with a conscience.

I discovered this product in dubai

It’s fantastic. I’m fair skinned. I burn so easily that even the light inside the fridge will burn me. This stuff kept me burn free for a full day at a water park in the middle of the Dubai summer.

Out of date / check the expiry date

Sun bum sun cream is amazing, only sun cream I’ve ever used and not burnt. However, received this item at the end of April and the expiry date was May 2020! Have returned that bottle and will order again and hopefully get a bottle with a longer expiry. Check the bottom of your bottles before using!!
