Good, not great

Not as powerful as I expected, but certainly better than typical shears. The open and close operation is counterintuitive (it opens when it feels like it, not when you release the trigger).

Sun Joe to the Rescue

On two different occasions I recently used this pruner on my 20 blackberry bushes one day and then the next day on 3 blueberry bushes and 15 rose bushes. Item is all I could ask for in a pruner. With an index finger that has gone athritic there was no problem tackling these annual tasks. I especially liked it when trimming the rose bushes... did not get thorned a single time while trying to get just the right angle... stuck the pruner in and clicked the trigger! One charge each day was sufficient for hundreds of cuts.

Broke with first use

light weight cutter

charges fast is easy to hold and use, sharp blade with easy to remove safety cap over blade for protection cuts good blade can be sharpened or replaced as necessary.

Limited use

I found this product disappointing. Using my hand pruner produced similar results. This might work for someone with decreased hand strength or mobility, but it was pretty useless for me. It is designed more for small thin branches, in my opinion.

It works OK, but it doesn't have enough power down. Fairly cut out. Grapevine It needs more power.

It's OK if you just use it for . Twigs. It's not exactly what I wanted you. I wanted something that'll cut through at least one inch. Tree listing. When I touch something that was half inch, it broke. This is the second one I've had. Sort of scared to use it. My break but. I bought it for it to use so. Hello Raspberry Bush is but. It just doesn't have very much power. Need something with at least. 14 volts on there and then it might have enough. This thing is just not very useful. For the money, you have to pay for it.

Ceased to work after 1/2 hour's use

We purchased this tool to use pruning small scale branches in our new (to us) overgrown garden. As we both have some arthritis we hoped this would help to prevent aching hands. Unfortunately the unit ceased to function after a scant half hour's use. We did not try to cut oversized branches or mis-use the tool, simply to use it as it was advertised. We thought perhaps the battery had faded so we re-charged it - nope, still makes a lot of noise but the jaws do not close. We are very disappointed, especially since a friend had bought another make (which was sold out when we went shopping) and hers is still working beautifully.
