Awful product
Paid more than I thought a can opener was worth thinking the price might be indicative of the products performance but I was very wrong. This is a piece of junk- even when taken good care of it rusts and leaves you with dangerous jagged edges…now at 3 months old won’t even open a can. Total waste of money. Amazon website forced me to give it a star or this review wouldn’t go through- it doesn’t deserve the one I gave it????????????????????

The Absolute Worst!!
This is probably one of the most infuriating products I have ever purchased. To be in the middle of a meal preparation and having to spend 5 minutes to open a tin can will really raise one’s blood pressure. The grips are nice but the steal used for the gears is what causes this can opener to fail. It will work right out the box but over time the gears begin to slip and eventually will be unable to open a can as intended. The fact that it has dropped in price by 65% since I purchased should mean something. Do not purchase this item.

WORTH IT
This can opener is worth every penny. I bought my first Firm Grip 11 years ago, it just started to give out. They make a fantastic product, you do get what you pay for....I would not buy any other can opener....customer for life.

Wonderful Can Opener
This is the only can opener I have owned that keeps working, I have thrown away at least 7 others that only worked for a short while. The price is a little high though.

The worst ever opener
I spent $20 on this can opener because I wanted a good can-opener which would last. This can opener does not work. It literally will not open cans! You have to go around the can over and over to even get most of it cut but it will not EVER cut the whole can. Worst $20 I ever spent. Any other opener would have to be better.
