Very good quality

I was looking for a wrench set that had good quality and didn’t skip any numbers with a lifetime warranty. As a mechanic my shop uses MAC and Snap-On for most tools. I needed to buy a good product or I would hate my tools. After watching YouTube videos comparing multiple brands of wrenches I heard about Gearwrench. They scored the same as Snap-On in multiple categories across the board. I purchased the 44 piece set. I received all the correct wrenches. All products were marked and had great quality. All products had a 12pt closed end. I saw reviews that were negative towards the product. I have no complaints. The 44 piece set is quality and I will definitely be recommending this set to the other maintainers in my shop.

Good Wrenches

I bought the 44 pc. Set. Upon inspection I did find 2 of my standard wrenches with minor burrs/ chips on the open-end side. I filed a claim thru the GearWrench website and they have now shipped the replacements at no cost to me. I should receive the new wrenches some time this week. That interaction was smooth and I appreciate them being prompt and helpful! I did take one star away because their QC department should catch these and prevent them from coming out the door. All the wrenches measure good, I had to use the 30mm the day I brought them into work and it worked smoothly. Overall great purchase for a good price!

Solid set. Correct sizes, no issues. They've been pretty abused and held up fine. Can't ask for more.

Everything for a good price.

Just received my 44pc and organized it in my tool box. I will say I didn’t expect these to be so long! Much better than my short craftsmens. They have a good thickness and feel to them. For a weekend mechanic or hobbies this kit seems great. I haven’t used them yet of course but all seems good. Only down fall i have a slight complaint about is the consistency of the hole sizes/ placements. Some closed ends seem thicker than others and my 1 1/16 came much too close to the edge. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the strength but time will tell.

Best wrench’s for the money

I would recommend to any mechanic or beginner, mechanic gear wrench tools they are built overseas, but for the price that you can’t beat them, and the chrome on them is fantastic 10 out of 10 they are strong and hold up to every day wear and tear from a professional standpoint

Good starter set

This is a great set at a great price. Packaging was damaged but nothing was missing. Over all greats set. Would recommend to anyone wanting a cheaper set with lots of sizes.

I read the reviews that this was a hit or miss for some people, with issues such as missing sizes. I’ve had really great luck with Gearwrench on Amazon before so decided to give this set a try. I am very pleased with my purchase. No missing wrenches , quality feels as expected, I’m going to put these to work in a diesel shop, I will update my review if there is an issue. Slight notch in the jaws of a wrench, almost like a flank drive. Between the SAE & Metric with this 44pc set I should be covered for everything. The jaws on the 1/4 are slightly out of spec,a few small imperfections on the finish if you look very closely here and there but not a deal breaker. 8.5/10 would buy again

Pretty good.

Pretty good value for money. Great if your just starting out. Im a tech of 16 years. Needed a cheep set for a second job. Some of the open ends get a bit weird in the smaller sizes. Big wrenches seem good fit. Good for alignments. But they don’t have the knuckle savers of the snap on flank drive plus. But that’s 550$ for 20-24mm size (5 wrenches) wrenches. So yeah there’s a trade off. But I’m not disappointed with them. They serve a purpose of kitting yourself out cheep. So all in all. They do the job. Make you money with a lower overhead cost.
