Too small, smelled awful
My daughter just turned 8 and is thin and slightly shorter than average for her age. She fits in 7, although 8 is more comfortable. I bought her the medium which came as 7/8. They were uncomfortably tight on her, more like a size 6. I've purchased directly from The Children's Place before and never had this issue. I had to return these and order size 8 from Amazon essentials, which fit much better. Also, I don't know why, but these smelled so strongly of air freshener or laundry detergent or something. I ordered a variety of items in the same order and these were the only thing that smelled. It was so strong, the scent filled up the entire house and was making me nauseous. I had to seal them in a bag and put in the garage too avoid the smell until I could return them. I have never had this issue before.

Not capris! regular length pants
I ordered these thinking we would get capris since they are listed as such but they are regular length pants. They are well made & the fit is perfect, just not what I was expecting. Will keep anyway since it’s late in the year & we’ll be needing pants soon (daughter’s school clothes). I would recommend these if you’re looking for pants/leggings.

Size is smaller than advertised. Ordered small 5/6 yes old. Ended up getting a size 2T

Very good quality
Nice and thick, except a little bit short, but overall good quality. Bought 6/7 for my 5yrs old. Fits good with a little room left. Not too tight. Would definitely recommend.

A little on the sheer side
My daughter says these are comfortable but honestly she can’t wear them without a dress or long shirt on because they are to sheer. They work for little girls who like to wear dresses or skirts to school but are really active at recess. I would rate them a 4 out 10. Fit is true to size.
