Too fragile

I love these glasses (own several pairs), however, the bridge breaks very easily and without apparent reason. So far, 2 pairs have broken.

They are very thin as advertised, but small and flimsy

Positives: These glasses are compact. They are very thin, as advertised. They are lightweight. The spring loaded case is thin and well made for holding the glasses safely. It snaps closed nicely. It fits nicely in your pocket next to your phone. Negatives: The glasses are very flimsy. The arms are not spring loaded at all, so they just flop around. They feel very breakable due to how light they are. I'm kind of nervous handling them. The lenses magnify as expected, but the field of view is limited to directly center. If you look toward the edges, vision blurs quickly. The arms are short on the ears. The glasses are smaller on your face than normal glasses by a recognizable amount. Given how they look and feel, I'd say they are very overpriced. They work for short uses like restaurant menus, but you could never wear them all day on a computer as the box advertises. The black frame appears to be simple paint on the acrylic that will come off easily. It may not, but that is the impression I get. Overall, I feel like the item is just overpriced. The case exudes more quality than I feel the glasses do. They work for simple, quick uses where you'd want to be carrying a set of lightweight readers. You would not at all want to use these for prolonged use. The field of vision and glasses themselves are just too small for that.

Not frame shape shown

These were supposed to be rectangular frames but they were totally round-about the diameter of a quarter for each lens….not what I wanted. I think I will attempt to reorder & see if I get the correct frame on my 2nd try because these are exactly the type of item I’m looking for-super thin to go in a small handbag or pocket.

Convenience with a tradeoff

I purchased the readers to be able to carry with me in the utility pockets of my tactical pants and for that they work great. Really pleased with the the sturdiness of the metal case along with the slim profile. Easy to take in and out of pocket and they are well protected while in the case. That being said the glasses are pretty flimsy while wearing them and this is the tradeoff. If you can be gentle with them while wearing then you will have no issues. The glasses are comfortable being so light, the optics are fine for what I'm using them for, the convenience of carrying them with me at all times in the case without the neck lanyard or other carrying device is great. They work for what I need them to do.

Amazingly thin! Great readers with a hint of yellow, that you can take anywhere!!

OK, so full disclosure, I own a few Thinoptics pairs. I have the original and keychain style that sit on your nose. They work VERY well for dark restaurants. But I feel a little silly with them stuck on my nose, while using my PC or reading a book. These are the best balance of great readers with a slightly yellow tint to block blue light. I was a bit worried about the yellow, since the picture looks very yellow. They also have a magnetic case!! Lastly, they are delicate so don't let little children play with them and always put them back in the case, when you are done!

Los lentes están increíbles!! Muy ligeros y delgados y, lo mejor de todo, es que su estuche es muy firme e impide que el lente se dañe.

Naturalmente lo mejor de estos lentes es la potabilidad, no los sientes en los bolsillo, los llevas contigo sin dificultad. Para uso prolongado es necesario el ángulo correcto para minimizar los reflejos, pero son excelentes.
