You get what you pay for
Overall, I like these pants and wear them 1-2x/week for my business casual office outfit. Within the first 1-2 wearings, the inner thigh had a clearly different texture. Almost rough, like it was pilling where my thighs rub. I honestly expected to have a hole appear within the first couple weeks, which is why I held off on giving a review. However, it's been a while (almost 2 months?) and the texture has remained the same, and there is no signs of defects in the fabric. Since my jeans/etc usually have this be the first place they rip, I'm saying it's my big ol' thighs... not a problem with the pants. Since it's in the inner thigh, it's not noticeable to others. I can't bend over far enough to analyze the area (belly!), but even I can't notice anything in the mirror. I was surprised (maybe I didn't read the full description), but this is *not* an 'over the belly' type pants. The front waistband is elastic and sits a little lower than I would normally expect. I would have preferred an over the belly panel. I find that when I sit for a while, the band digs into my lower belly and starts to bug me. I don't have that problem with my other pants. Both of these two things made me deduct 1 star, but if push comes to shove, I would buy these again as a pair of dress pants.

Very nice pant for work, will get a lot of use.
I wear 10/12 Petite normally, am currently 5 1/2 months pregnant with a smaller belly (according to others). I purchased both the XL and the L to see which would fit. The XL would only stay up with the elastic adjusted almost all the way, but this created puckering (that'd be hidden under a shirt, yes) and the legs were really wide even though I have rather meaty thighs LOL. The L fits almost perfectly but the elastic is on the largest setting. They are 2 inches too long on me (I like longer pants for a petite, usually 31", so I'd estimate these are 33" inseam on the L give or take a bit). The front knit portion allows for stretch and the back is fitted perfectly to my figure, so I believe these will continue to work for a few months, maybe my whole pregnancy under the belly will even work. They look like decent quality dress pants for work, with nice drape and the brown is a neutral dark brown. I will probably wear them every other day to work! I have decided to just undo the elastic as I grow, hem the length, and remove the pockets in the back just because the outline of the pocket does show through and I'd like a teensy bit more wiggle room as my belly grows. In the realm of maternity clothes that haven't looked right on me I am very happy with these despite the needed adjustments!

Comfortable
I gave these 4 stars because they are insanely comfortable. I am a size 6 and purchased a medium and they fit nicely around the waste. I really like how the elastic is buttoned on the inside, this way when I get bigger, I can loosen them up. Also, these are the only brown dressy maternity pants that I could find that looked half decent. There are two cons though. First, the legs are huge, I can fit both of my legs into one side :( This kind of stinks because they make my legs look huge. In addition, I'm very short so I had to hem these up with hemming tape 4 inches just to get them where I needed them, I wish they came in short sizes. However, I'm a short person and have had trouble my whole life finding dress pants that actually fit and that come in short sizes. Since I have to wear brown pants at work, these are perfect. Plus I stand behind a desk, so it isn't like anyone is actually going to see me in them.

Totally Wearing These Even After the Baby Arrives
Love, love these slacks. They are soft and oh-so-comfortable, with a flattering wide leg and drape. The elastic bump band is also made out of super-soft material and is a very narrow band, basically just replacing where your button would be, so it sits under the bump. I'm 5'3" so I did have to hem them, but that's a given for almost every pair of pants I buy. I got these when I was only 5 months in and they fit great, and I'm due in a few weeks and still wearing them comfortably. Because of how the band is designed, I'll be able to get away with wearing these even after I get back to my pre-pregnancy size, and I'll absolutely do it because they're so flattering. They wrinkle up a little after wearing them all day, but I don't have to iron them after doing the laundry as long as I hang them pretty quickly. They're fairly light-weight, what I would consider a spring/summer pair of slacks.

Comfortable, professional pant
Wanted a comfortable, but professional looking pant for the earlier stages of my pregnancy. I'm in the awkward stage where some of my old pants still fit, but some do not. These pants aren't the best quality fabric, but they do the job. I like having true back pockets too--I'm a woman with a "fuller" back side, so VPLs are somewhat of a concern at times--having a true pocket makes me worry a lot less. I wish these came in a navy fabric in addition to the black, brown and grey. My only bit of warning is that if you live in an area where there is a Belk Department store, you can pick these up in the store and get them a bit less expensively. I was a tad disappointed to see them for about $8 cheaper after wearing and washing my the first pair.

Frumpy looking
These pants are not snug at all! I don't know where reviewers got that from unless they didn't pay attention to the size chart. I ordered the medium to be on the safe side and they look baggy. They're not straight leg like the picture shows. They're more for curvy figures. I was 135 lb pre-pregancy and 5'6", normal build. They look baggy on the legs, mostly hips, making them look frumpy, otherwise they would have had 5 stars. I am debating ordering the smalls to see if they fit better or if they're really too tight keeping the medium in case over bigger on the legs /hips.
