Wheel Axle Bent on First Trip
UPDATE: Thule Warranty Support got back to me and will cover the damage; so their Limited Lifetime Warranty is the real deal. Thule is experiencing supply-chain issues and says it will be a few months before I get a free replacement. For that, I've improved my rating to three stars (I can't blame them for supply-chain issues). If the replacement's quality supersedes the original, I will update this review again. SECOND UPDATE: While waiting for my warranty replacement, I was able to completely free the bent axle from the wheel assembly. To my surprise, the axle is actually an M8x78mm flathead countersunk, partially threaded cap screw. This reveals the genesis of my original problem: any mechanical engineer worth their salt knows that screws are not designed to take shear loads. In any event, Monster Bolts sells ten packs of M8x80mm flathead countersunk, partially threaded cap screws on Amazon. The fix held up on a trip I had to take with the bag while waiting for my replacement. I guess I can bear 9 more bent wheels on this or its replacement. ORIGINAL: The wheel axle on this suitcase bent on the first leg of the first trip I took with it. It obviously can't stand-up to the abuse that airport luggage handlers put on bags. Because of the length of that trip, I can't return it in Thule's guarantee period. I reached out to their support about getting a replacement part a week ago and they haven't even responded to my support request. I thought Thule was a premium company that stood behind their expensive products. I was wrong. Caveat emptor.

Twice the stated weight
I am giving it 3 stars because I will be returning it right away. It looks nicely built, the wheels look good and sturdy and the zippers are what I would expect of a Thule product. Unfortunately, thy specify that it weighs 3.2 lbs and in fact it weighs 6.4 lbs. maybe they meant Kgs, but it definitely says Lbs. I actually went baqck to the product description to make sure I had not misinterpreted it. Weight is a critical consideration for us. I am sorry it does not meet our criteria because the size is great and other than weight it would have been a perfect bag.

My go to for checked luggage.
Bought this to replace an Amazon bag. This is durable, lightweight, and water resistant. It's a no frills bag with minimal compartments and dividers but it does It's job well. I've checked it many times with no issues.

Excellent quality from Thule. Again.
Thule makes great stuff. That's about all there is to it! I bought this because I was so please with my SubTerra carry on roller, and this did not disappoint. So much better than TNF rolling duffle that I was comparing it to. If you are in the market for a large rolling duffle, this one is a fantastic choice.

Good but not great
The overall material selection and engineering are typical of Thule products which is the primary reason I purchased this over other known brands. While the case is made of quality materials and is well constructed, it leaves a lot to be desired. After 1 round trip by air, the top outer surfaces didn’t hold up as well as I had hoped with a lot of visible surface marring and some corner abrasions. Although the outer compression straps do their job, if the case isn’t completely full, the exterior appearance isn’t flattering due to over torquing. The soft outer shell isn’t designed to fold in any predetermined way when compressed which leads to a bow tie effect. There should be interior straps to keep everything inside in its place rather than relying solely on the outer straps to do that job. If the case is 3/4 full expect everything on the inside to become well jostled. Overall good but needs improvements. Will see how it holds up after my flight next month.

A terrific bag!
Love this bag. I primarily use it to roll around all of my photography gear to & from gigs. It’s tough, sturdy and water resistant which is perfect. I’ve used it a few times as a checked bag while flying and it takes a beating, which sadly seems to happen frequently. The bag now has gouges, a hole and some fraying around the zipper…all occurred as a checked bag. Nothing was damaged internally.

Tough bag!
I've only used the bag once but it held up beautifully and I hd no surprises. The extra handles are jut where you would hope them to be. Id buy again if need be. Ill update again after my next trip!

Excellent sturdy and spacious
Heaps of space in this Thule 110ltr wheeled hard-backed duffel bag. Solid construction with excellent wheels and strong zips, as well as decent compression on the straps when not fully loaded. Handle is slightly short for looping a laptop bag over. Useful addition would be internal compression straps for when the bag is not fully loaded, or at least some internal anchoring points to have the option of adding a strap when required. Lockable main zip security let down slightly by the external end pocket having no lock loop and being only mesh lined - would be simple to gain access to main compartment via this pocket.
