Great for Kids learning to tell time!

Highly recommend this for children who are learning to tell time as the time is clearly demarcated and the labelled Hour and Minute Hands make it even easier to tell time!

Great for toddlers

I got this for my 2 year old who loves to wear his dads watch. It is a stretchy non-pinching band so it fits over his fist and snugs his wrist just right. It’s adjustable so it will grow with him.

Learning

Bought for a 5 yr old. The buckle part doesn’t hold very well and as active/crazy as our kid is it often comes loose. I do like the different colors I can ask him about what color is pointing to what number. The blue (minute) numbers are a little hard for him to read. Overall great for the price and our son.

My grandson's birthday gift.

I bought this for my grandson's birthday and he absolutely loves it. I bought this one for him because I wanted him to be able to read the analog watch instead of just a digital version.

Left outside all winter!!

My son left this in the yard ALL winter (Indiana below 0) and it still works!! I cleaned the mud off and still works 100%!

Great watch for kids

Bought it for my son and he loves it. It's been around a year that he using it almost every day but it is working perfectly.

My son loves it

Really like that the watch hands tell you whether it is for hours or minutes. And that the hands are color coordinated with their corresponding numbers to help children learn to tell time. He got the shark watch and it's really cute that the second hand is a shark that "swims" around the watch face. I only wish that the face was larger for easier readability.

Quality not so great!

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter who is learning to read time. It arrived in a good package. The pictures look great than the actual watch itself. The quality of the watch dial is ok. It doesn’t feel like a Timex quality watch. It has a stretchable band which is easy to wear, tighten and remove. This watch doesn’t have a backlight, which is a shame so there is no way you can see the time in the dark. It is not water resistant either. Would not recommend. But my daughter loved this watch. Timex needs to improve their quality!

The quality of a cheap market stall watch :-(

Not quite up to the quality I was expecting for the money, the writing is very small but my daughter seems to be able to read it OK, BUT not as described THERE IS NO BACKLIGHT ON THIS MODEL. We haven't tried to see if it's waterproof yet. UPDATE - After a few more weeks usage I have decided to downgrade this item to 1 star. As other people have stated this watch does not keep the right time, I have to set it every week. Also the strap is rubbish, it keeps becoming slack, why they couldn't use a Velcro strap I will never know. I would have expected a watch of this low quality if I'd bought it from a market stall, but not from Timex.

Plastic face

This was a gift for my granddaughter, so the packaging wasn't opened untill she received it. I was very disapointed by the quality. The watch face is plastic and slightly raised so that's going to catch and break easily. The numbers are also very small, the secondary teaching numbers are tiny and barely readable. I can't return as, I missed the return window. Suffice to say she hasn't even bothered to wear it.

Very easy to read…ideal for teaching time.

I’m a teacher and was so pleased to find a watch for my son that had a really clear face including both the numbers of hours and the minutes. A lot of the kids watches these days count up to 30 minutes / half past, then the minutes start counting back down to 0. At an early stage I think it’s better that the children can see the actual number past the hour so they properly understand the length of the hour and make a link to a digital time E.g. 2:48…rather than confusing them with 12 minutes to 3. The watch strap is easy to adjust and comfortable. The watch seems pretty robust. My son hasn’t worn it in the bath or pool so can’t tell you if it would stand up to a long immersion. My son really likes the second hand which is a helicopter that rotates around screen. Great first watch.

Disappointing piece of plastic

I've been tricked to buy this piece of plastic by false specifications on Amazon, stating it has back-light but it doesn't. Description says it has elastic fabric strap but its not elastic enough for my little girl. Water resistance "30m" has nothing to do with diving at 30 metres (just another lie) and for kids something like this means it'll last to next rainy day. I can't return this watch since my 4yr put her hands on it but I'd really love to. It is sad how well known, trustworthy brand turned cheapo. Had some sentiment about Timex. It's simply disappointment.
