The best tongs around

I use tongs every single day and I am picky. These are the perfect tongs. They have the right amount of spring and tension and don’t get overly loose, and they’re strong enough that you can easily perform tasks like tossing big pots of pasta or turning over cuts of searing meat with ease. The silicon tip is durable and strong and doesn’t melt, and I also love the built-in rest on the side. It also closes easily and has a strong lock so it stays closed when it’s in the drawer. I had my first one for more than 10 years and just bought a second for when it’s in the dishwasher because life’s too short to use disfunctional tongs for even a day. I have lived and I have learned.

silicone tips do not hold up to use

I hand wash and only use on my nonstick pan. but over time, the silicon tips crack and the stainless steel shows through. the only cause I can think of is heat but I never cook my nonstick pan on high. that's frustrating. it really is hard to find cooking utensils NOT made in china.
