Very nice but lightweight
Very nice product. I purchased this for my son to keep his growing coin collection. I ordered the XL one it is seems like it will be plenty of room. Look wise....I love it! attractive and cool looking. The only thing I would mention is that it is very lightweight. I almost thought the sealed box was empty! Would purchase again but would be more apt to say it's a value of $30 instead of $40.

Tchotchke Chest
This chest has a nice size and look to it. The hardware (hinges and latch) isn't quite flush and centered and will need some adjusting. I also purchased the 8.5' and 12.5" chests and observed the same hardware issue on those two as well.

Treasure box
Bought for three year old grandson for a Christmas present. Used vinyl letters to personalize the box, turned out perfect. Grandson loves putting his little treasures inside for safe keeping, and he is able to carry it around. Very well made.

Cute, but very lightweight.
I bought this box to fill with trinkets for my 4 yr old grandson’s birthday. I’ve bought similar boxes before. This arrived on time and looks cute. The clasp works. It’s a good size. But the box itself is very lightweight. As you can see in the picture it has paper thin layers of wood compressed. I don’t think it was worth the price I paid for it. Feels more like an inexpensive $6 box. It’ll do for the purpose I got it, but I do think it was overpriced for the quality. And the edges aren’t sanded so the wood is splintering in one area. I’m not sure how long it’ll last. It doesn’t feel like a nice chest, it feels rather cheaply made.

Treasure chest for our grandson.
We hve a little one who is almost 3. They came to our house one day and I have a box for our car keys by the door. My grandson goes,"Oh, Treasure." After they left I thought about how much he liked my wooden box and decided to look for something so that he would have a treasure box also. When I saw this one, I was thrilled. And it has a handle on the top to carry it around with him. I found a sweet treasure map with pictures on pinterest. I printed it and laminated it. But it was empty so I found a bag of plastic pirate coins also on Amazon to put in it. It had printout slips telling the new owner that they stand behind their products. I am thrilled with this wooden box. It is perfect and our baby loves it. They have a rottweiler at home so I told him he must not let his dog find a plastic coin out of his treasure box. It is so well made and so very perfect for him to put the treasures he loves finding outside. Worms, lizards, and a big green frog one evening. His mom is going to hate me for this one. HA!!

Beautiful box but packaged poorly
This box is gorgeous. I love it. The only thing I don't like is that it was packaged with the top handle squished out of the box. It's made the handle all creased and I can't seem to fix it. It's really stuck like that, even after weeks.

Super cute
I used his box as a nicer toy box for knickknacks for my toddler. I found her toys taking over everywhere and bought this for some of the smaller items so it would look nice. I really like the box, overall it is in very good condition and nicely made. The only “issue” I found was on one of the leather straps that runs down the side it is gouged a bit but it doesn’t bother me. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this! I use it as a treasure box for my students. They love that it’s an actual chest and love when they get to look in it. Lo g enough to fit pencils. Tall enough to fit different prizes.
