Deze kousen in emboliestijl hebben een hogere compressiewaarde van 18 mmHg gericht op de enkel om het risico op trombo-embolie te verminderen. Emboliekousen, gewoonlijk TED-slangen (trombo-embolie-afschrikkend) genoemd, zijn een voorkeurskeuze voor het herstellen van patiënten in een bedgebonden liggende positie. After measuring I ordered a large and also medium. I already have a X-Large which was getting too big. I wore the large and was over my knees when I got home

There is give to them.

All of these thigh compression socks are difficult to get on at first. This is better than the first pair I ordered.

They are good stockings, but they roll down on my thighs.

I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency of the lower extremities and advised to wear compression socks by my cardiologist. She said stockings that cover the thighs would be better than socks that stop at the knees, so I found these. I have 11" ankle, 17" calf and 29" thighs and these said they'd fit, and they do. The reason they didn't get 5 stars from me is, despite having the little sticky dots on the backs of the thigh band, they still roll down my thighs. But, I found that wearing bike shorts over the stockings helps keep them up! Maybe they'd stay up on their own if the sticky dots went all the way around the thigh band.

I really like these!!

I got these cause I had surgery and my legs were swelling I have some compression socks but the swelling was up higher than the sock so I got these that go up to the thigh so hopefully they will help I’m 5 9 and 130 pounds I have skinny legs but my thighs are bigger I bought a medium and they fit perfectly the feet part I have extra fabric I just tuck it down the thigh part fits perfectly it has rubber round the back and side of the band and the front it just fabric it’s got the v shap that seems to help wit stretching over bigger thighs if needed there realy comfortable I love the white there nice and clean I would by again.

Good quality, but rolls down.

They roll down like pretty much every other compression thigh high stocking. I do have big legs and they fit, so good. Get a garter belt or else you'll be pulling and tugging, my first pair did not survive.

Post-Op Knee Reconstruction

After measuring my legs multiple times and stressing about accurate sizing I took a chance on these bad boys and I will say the pair I received is absolutely true-to-size. Thank god I don’t have to unleash my inner Karen. Good product guys. My swelling knee thanks you! If you get your correct size these socks will stay up all day. - an avid thigh high sock wearer

Very comfortable

They were easy to put on and felt comfortable. For the first half of the day they were great but unfortunately the tops started rolling down in the afternoon making them very uncomfortable. The good news is we used a sexy garter and matching thong to enable them to stay up and look great. Compression was as advertised and felt very good on the feet, calf and thigh. Will buy again!
