Comfortable! Legs a bit tight on athletic thighs

My husband really likes these for lap swimming. They stay put with the tie waist and don't cause any drag in the water. They're longer than he normally wears, but he doesn't mind these as he has some longer ones. His one criticism is that the legs are a bit tight (he has fairly athletic legs), and he did size up already (he's normally a 36, but finds Tyr to run smaller in the legs, so he sized up to the 38 in these). If you have athletic/larger legs, he would recommend sizing up because the waist can be tightened with the drawstring but the legs don't adjust. Otherwise, he's happy with these and the way they are (so far) standing up to 4xweekly exposure to chlorine. He says if your legs are on the thinner side you should be good ordering your regular size.

Nice overall, some minor issues

This is a nice swim suit overall, and the first that I have had that is more tight fitting. The suit fit well, I normally have a size 33 pant waist so went with a 34 on this. Glad I went up not down. The fitting around the legs is a little tight but I do have larger muscles in my legs compared to the rest of my body type, so might just be me. The biggest annoyance I have with this is the tag in the butt crack. It is long and annoying, and removing it makes it a bit sharp. Pick the battle, as I couldn't get it fully out and it can be pokey in the butt. Other than the tag it is very nice, well made, and looks good on. With tagless being more common I'm surprised it still included a long physical tag. Should they improve that it would be perfect.

True to size. Excellent quality

Durafast line from TYR is one of the best jammers one can find. The colors are bright and similar to the product image. The previous TYR jammer we had lasted for 2 swim seasons until it started to fade in color and fabric from chlorine damage, so I’m expecting something similar from this one. My son has a slim body, so this fits nicely. If you have big quadriceps then you may need a size bigger.

Fully lined, reliable brand

My kids swim 3+ times per week. We’ve been happy with two other pairs of TYR brand jammers. It was time to move up to a size 28. The red is more vibrant than the stock photo. I prefer the fully lined products as we’ve had issues with front or crotch lined styles. I expect these will hold up for at least six months of constant wear if not more before the chlorine damage starts to show. My kid wears size 14 boys loosely and weighs 98 lbs.

I needed this for competitive swimming

I needed this for competitive swimming, fits tight but I guess that's how it's suppose to be. Material and color are nice and hopefully I get used to wearing this over the traditional baggy shorts.

Great fit

Great jammer. No fabric peeling or color bleed. Fit was as expected with good drawstrings and a contoured feel.

For those who like the jammer style

This gives you an alternative to a bikini brief. Ordered my standard size for a great fit. The basic suit is black but is available in 8 side accent colors. Made of fast drying polyester for a great fit and feel. Comfortable for a comfortable all day wear. Tyr is a great alternative supplier than Speedo.

These jammers look better than in the pics. They are really well done - as one would expect from tyr.
