Excellent polarization/Best for direct sunlight or sunny days/Very comfortable

Weight: 34 grams Width: 54 mm, not 55mm Polarization: Very high clarity, with good brightness enhancement. Protection: Standard UV Best for: Direct sunlight or sunny days. These sunglasses can be worn on overcast/cloudy days, but the lenses are definitely designed for high amounts of sunlight. Slipping: None. The nose isn't adjustable, but it's grippy, as are the arms. Durability: The frames are very strong, but light. Lense scratching: I haven't scratched the lenses in 40+ wearing occasions, which has included cycling and hiking. Bottom line: These sunglasses are going to appeal most to those who want premium features without paying a high premium. I have sunglasses that run 30%-40% more, that aren't any nicer than these. Highly recommended 5 stars

So lightweight and comfortable.

This is a review of the TYR Newland Aviator Sunglasses. I usually wear Ray-Ban sunglasses so I was curious to try these out. I am happy to say I like them, with one quibble. The first, and one of the most important things to me, is that these sunglasses are exceptionally lightweight. I barely feel them on my face. The lens are easy to keep clean and they look sharp. The glasses are polarized which is great. Lastly, and no stars off for this - I have a thin face and these glasses are too big. The lens width is 55 millimeters, so keep that in mind if you want to order these. I think they’d be perfect for most people.

Excellent quality to be so lightweight

My son loves these! He's a big guy.... 6'2" and 240. These fit him well though may have been a *tad* narrow. He looks like he's in the movie Top Gun, and since I used to fly airplanes, I think they're pretty cool! They are much more lightweight than I was anticipating and I'm glad they come with a good, hard- shelled case to keep them protected.
