Airlines are getting really picky on size. This bag fit and meets their rules.

Great basic luggage

Best feature of this carryon: fits Alaska Air (22x14x9) Worst feature of this carryon: nothing so far I consider this to be basic, not heavy-duty, luggage which is best-suited for infrequent travel. A four-day weekend here and there. I only need it for infrequent, short-trip, regional travel where there's no likelihood of it being checked in. I also need it to fit the Alaska Air carryon size limit which currently is 22"x14"x 9". This carryon does that. This is the only carryon I found that fits those limits exactly. (However, on my most recent Alaska flight, nobody was checking sizing. There were a ton of much larger carryons). If you look at some of the higher-priced luggage on display at Macy's, you can definitely see the difference in the quality of the material, the zippers, the wheels, and the pull handle. I'm not knocking this luggage because for short trips, it's great. I'm just saying it doesn't appear to have the ruggedness and durability of other luggage where a person might be making numerous trips and the carryon might be tossed around a bit more. On my carryon, the zippers work nicely, there are a couple of nice pockets, and it rolls right down the plane aisle nicely. Mine does not tip over when packed. The tote that comes with it is more like a large purse, imo. On my most recent Alaska Air flight, I had to put my actual purse inside the tote otherwise they were going to force me to check a bag because I was over the 2-bag carryon limit. On Alaska Air, a purse counts as one bag. I like the matchy-ness of the two pieces. Addendum: There was one small lock & keys included with my luggage. I found it to be worthless. It “looked” locked, but I could easily pull it apart. I separately purchased a 4-pack of TSA-compliant locks so I could lock everything.

Easily Tips Over

Very nice set. The roller had plenty of space. Only complaint is that it tips over very easily when it wasn’t even overstuffed. Minor annoyance.

My main problem with it is that it is wearing out.

I took it to my travel to Orlando and Miami on a bus. After returning from the trip, I noticed that some of the woven bag strings were out. Hence, it didn't pass the sturdiness test that I was hoping it would pass. Hopefully, they make better bags than this in the future.

Nice little set for short trips

Glad I took a chance and ordered these at a discount from Amazon Warehouse as "Open Box-Like New" and they are in perfectly brand new condition, including a little lock and two keys! They're small, and very light weight, perfect for carrying on. Love the way the little bag attaches to the handle of the other one. The outside pockets hold a lot. The zippers are sturdy, with good size handles and zip smoothly. They're worth what I paid, but I probably wouldn't have bought them at full price. My only problem with them is that I ordered blue, the box says blue, they are purple. I really wanted the blue and would've tried to return or exchange them if I had time before the trip I bought them for, but I didn't. So now I have a cute purple carry on set. I'm not really mad about it, it's a nice true purple. I highly recommend you check out Amazon Warehouse. I've saved quite a bit of $, and got perfectly good products, by taking the time to explore it!
