Geweldig voor moeilijk bereikbare lampen, apparaten, vakantieverlichting binnenshuis en items zonder AAN/UIT-schakelaars. Use for my air fryer

The instructions that came with my air fryer said to unplug it when not in use. So I bought the "UltraPro Grounded Power Switch" 2 pack so I could turn off the power instead of yanking the plug out after each use. They are UL rated which was very important. My only issue I have with the plugs is that they wear out after about 6 months. But I do use it a lot. I would say that I use the air fryer at least twice a day. So the plug does get a workout. And as the plugs are fairly inexpensive (approx $4.50 each) I find it a worthwhile purchase.

Works well for plugged in lighting under my kitchen cabinetry. Only draw back is its thickness, coupled with the plug thickness, creates a very thick extrusion from the wall outlet.

It works, but product description may be deceptive

I took a chance buying two more sets, since last time i received genuine GE switches. This time I got the UltraPro brand. It works, but i see that the pictures are mixed between GE and non-GE brand. Too good to be true I guess.

Good-seeming item; unfortunately box smelled like perfume/carcinogenic dryer sheets

I just received these and started using them. We are using them for our laptops as well as our printer as we cannot stand constantly plugging them in and out or worse, forgetting to unplug them/keeping them plugged in after they are charged. I am confident that in very little time, these switches will have paid for themselves as now we will no longer have the printer plugged in 24/7, just on and off when we need it with this handy switch. Likewise with the computers. Also, the outlets will save on wear and tear massively. When we vacation in Europe, ALL the outlets have switches built-in which is super as it saves so much energy. This should be the norm in the U.S., but in the of course it is not, so these switches are the ticket.

Good product

Works perfectly for the 2 small appliances that don't have power switches, so we don't need to plug and unplug everytime. I only needed 2 but somehow the price for an individual unit or a 2-pack is very expensive, so this is a good deal for 4-pack but I guess they would be handy when needed in future. The only wish I have is for the product to have another version where the switch is on the other side.

Safe and easy way to kill phantom (stand-by) power waste

The GE UltraPro power switch is an easy and safe way to cut down phantom (stand-by) power waste at home. Instead of unplugging the devices when they are not in use, this allow devices to be turned off completely with flip of a switch. Unlike similar products I bought during a trip in Taiwan, this is compact enough to not block adjacent outlet(s). At current hydro rate, a device with 5W stand-by power would cost $5 / year. This power switch will likely pay for itself after 6 - 24 months in energy savings. The stand-by power vary significant between devices. I have measured the stand-by power usage with a "Kill A Watt" meter: TV / Cable Box: 5 - 15W Home Theatre Receiver / Amplifier: 0.5 - 5W Smart TV with "Quick Start" Enabled: ~20W Media Streamer: 1 - 2W Robotic Vacuum Charger: 1W

Best Deal

I bought a single grey GE switch last year as an Add-On item for a little under $6. Now the that price has more than doubled, this 2 pack is a better deal at this time. I only needed one to replace a broken dollar store switch but can find a use for the second. The original is sturdily made and works as expected.
