Erg . . . Terribly designed cups. Having gained some weight, I've been on a bra buying spree through Amazon because I live too far from La Senza (best shaped & structured bra cups on the market, especially for large breasts). I've tried several bras from Undies.com and this one is the worst yet, because of the cup structure. It's too bad because this company's bras are, if anything, very comfortable. They are made from soft, silky spandex/lycra (bathing suit material) and feel very nice on - not stiff, no pinching, scraping, scratching, digging, etc., and they have the racer-back hook feature that I love, which brings the straps, at the back, together, thus helping gather your breasts in from the sides, as well. However, the flaw is in the cup positioning and cup shape with this company's bras. This particular bra cup is dreadful! I bought a 38DD (ideally, I would prefer 36DDD or a 34DDD worn with a band extender, but not available). The cup, though it does have a mild push-up "pillow", does not draw and lift the boob up and toward the front of your chest. The cup and wire is simply too wide so your boob is still creeping sideways towards your armpit, instead of being drawn in towards the front & centre of your torso. On top of this, the moulded cup has a terrible pointy shape, giving a "cone boob" look instead of a nice, rounded silhouette. Lastly, because the bra cup/wire is too wide (it should be more of a horseshoe shape, instead of a C shape), this cup cuts across the top of the boob, giving you the dreaded double boob - ugh! Ladies, you should stop settling on bras simply because they fit size-wise, and feel comfortable, you should also consider what shape silhouette the cups themselves give your boobs. If you go around with boobs out at your sides, rubbing against your biceps, or looking like you have cone boobs, or two smaller boobs on top of your bigger boobs, this is not a good look. If, however, you like this look, buy this bra.
