Attractive and provides adequate light.

Pretty lamp. Lamp base is in the polished nickel ballpark. Very pretty white glass shade. Provides adequate light for my purpose/location.

Beautiful New Piano Lamp

I bought this lamp to use for a piano lamp. It is bright and beautiful and gives me the updated look I was going for. The brushes nickel is so shiny and pretty and the lamp is heavy and expensive looking and great quality.

leans a little...

It's a nice looking lamp overall; I did see a review from June 2020 that said it "leans a little to the right", and chose to roll the dice that whatever was wrong a year ago had been corrected. I lost the roll, it does lean a little, so the shade isn't quite level under a picture frame right above it, which does hang perfectly level. So the good news, in this case anyway, is that the metal is soft enough to bend the upright section just enough to get the top level without otherwise affecting the appearance. In my case the lamp sits on my piano and won't get banged around, so the soft metal shouldn't be a problem, but beware if you're going to use it anywhere that the soft metal might matter, like a kid's room or a work area...

Exactly as advertised. Changed the bulb to increase brightness.

Solid, heavy base so it does not move accidentally or tip over. Changed to a higher wattage bulb so it illuminates entire work area on my desk. Finished nicely, no scratches or other marks. Corrugations on lower part of arm make it easy to grasp and position. Was not fond of green glass shade shown on ads for -- many of these style lamps -- so the milky finish on this glass shade provides more overall usable light.

Just What I Needed

The lamp sits on my desk with a shelf just above it. It does not produce enough heat to interfere with the shelf which sits about an inch above. It lights up my entire desk and is easy on my eyes. I made the right choice going with a white glass shade instead of green. Lamp is very attractive. Love it.
