Great floor for a home workshop / storage room - not too sure I would use in a garage with cars
I used 5 boxes in a basement workshop / furnace room / storage room. I had 1' square VCP tiles I installed 20+ years ago but the glue became brittle and the tiles were popping up. I liked that material but they run over $2/sft, are brittle, and are a lot of work to install so I looked into many, many flooring options. I went with this product and think it was the right move for my situation: - Interior basement floor, will never see sun and the temp is nearly constant - Can be removed / recut if needed to accommodate a different furnace, water heater, or big shelf that I want to anchor - Looks decent and cleans/sweeps easily - ships/sold by Amazon proper (better faith if returns needed) - made in the USA from recycled rubber I didn't follow the install directions literally, I started at the edge you encounter when walking in since I wanted that to set the line and look for the rest of the layout. Along the front edge I trimmed the little tabs off for a clean look, but didn't along the left and right walls which fit perfectly without any trimming (luck). The back wall and around a few obstacles I had to cut tile - it's only 4mm thick but like cutting through a hockey puck. You can't just score and snap these like drywall, you need to cut through them. I tried utility knife with drywall square (requires perfect alignment from cuts on both sides), angle grinder (just no), and had the best results with small tin snips. The right combination of sharp and leverage (helped to wear gloves). Other random thoughts: I don't think these would be good in a garage that gets sun or used for parking cars, especially where it snows. Water/salt will get under and it's not a quick task to take them apart. Maybe once a year pulling the floor out in big sheets to do a cleaning but seems like a lot of work. My garage is epoxy (Rust Bullet) which is a pain to install but no worries on expansion, water trapped, shoving tiles, etc. These tiles in an interior room or utility shed I think is the ideal use, just have options on how to cut them and be realistic on your expectations with this very low cost flooring solution.

Very usable, not perfect
It’s hard to beat this for two dollars a square foot. Very easy to put down and looks great once you do. Tends to lift when heavy things such as table saws or other are rolled over it. Be careful not to mar the locking tabs, or else they will stick up for ever. This is a flawless solution for a garage, but not perfect for a workshop..

Great except bubble in the center
The floors are easy to install and great overall except most of the tiles came with a deformity with a bubble in the center of it making it not look as professional and flat. We bought it to upgrade the garage to sell so there was no time to return or replace. Going to try again hopefully for the new place and hopefully this time it will not be deformed…

Great quality!
The floor tiles fit together perfectly and are very sturdy. I'm using them for something a little unusual - the floor for a rabbit enclosure. Everything else I've tried the rabbit would chew through or couldn't get traction on. So it's bunny approved!

Easy to install, but difficult to cut to fit.
I spent some time cutting end pieces by hand. Very difficult and painful, if you are past your prime years. However, I realized that the tiles could be cut with a table saw. After that, it was a breeze. After installation, however, I realized that during certain times of the day, the areas exposed to sunlight warp a bit. The remedy is to keep the garage door closed during those short periods of time.

Ordered Multiple Times-But Pattern not consistent
This is a great product, but I do have an issue. I ordered this item three different times, 1 box on July 14, 1 box on July 18 and 3 boxes on Aug 1. I received the coin pattern on the August first shipment, the other two shipments I received a different pattern, not the coin pattern. I never thought anything of it as I actually like the first pattern that was sent. The only issue is now that I have a floor that does not match. I've already installed the product. I would not have noticed, but a friend of mine said something.

Just installed on an upstairs Patio
They are easy to install and cut to fit with a large scissors. They are also plastic and have a good bit of thermal expansion. When installing the you must leave a good bit of expansion room around the edge..

Smell
I really liked the feel and material but I could not handle the smell for my laundry room. The smell is like burnt grass. No easy returns. The cost to return them is the same as the cost of the product. That was disappointing. I ended up selling them.
