Easy to Use / Accurate Hole Size Drill Bits

These excellent quality drill bits are easy to use and drill an accurate hole size. The "split point" alleviates "bit walking" on smooth and/or contoured surfaces.

Amazing but don't push it

Second set I bought. Abused the first set with brutal drilling of steel bars in concrete. That's a bit much for every drill bit... Also used the old set to drill out big anti theft bolts at my car as the safety lock nut stripped. Didn't use cutting oil and just went too fast and too hard. They became dull fast. Not the way to drill... I know. But if treated properly these cut amazingly. Love them a lot. Expensive but worth the price. Will buy again.

Cut very well and hold up nice. I did purchase the cutting oil they sell also and it seems to help a lot when drilling.

Quit looking - these are it

After dozens of mid grade titanium and "high quality" bits I have used for 40 years, the best thing I ever did was buy these. I waited 6 months to do this review so its not a "they look great in the box" review. Solid bits, stay sharp, of course they are consumables but I can see now that this set will last me a very very long time. Most people use drill bits improperly, use steady pressure at a 90 deg angle at a speed that keeps the bit cutting no faster and use tap magic or some other lube on thick metal. The box internal hinges could use some work, but I didnt buy them for the box, the "drawers" pop out once in a while, but I LOVE these bits.

Wow, I had no idea what i was missing!

Can't even tell you how many sets of drills I've owned over the years, dozens, along with countless individual bits. I'd buy what i thought were good ones, including mostly "cobalt bits" for any metal work in recent years, and really thought i was getting the best I could. I was definitely wrong! I've only drilled a few things with these, but they really do blow through steel like you're drilling wood, just amazing. As always, to get the best results use a good lubricant like Tap Magic and keep your RPMs relatively low, and I suspect these will last a lifetime. Love that they're jobber length but have the three flats like a mechanics bit too, best of both worlds, and how they should all be made IMO. I'm reading some reviews where people are upset that the smaller bits have broken. Unfortunately, there are no unbreakable 1/16" bits. Careful handling, watching your angles, pressure, speed, and lubrication is the only way to stop breaking them.

Cuts through steel like butter

These drill bits are extremely sharp. I finally was able to use them today to drill through varying thicknesses of steel up to quarter inch and they didn't skip a beat. Right through like a hot knife through butter. I have been an automotive tech for 15 years and these are by a far sight the best drill bits I have ever used. Better than the Matco hyper bits or whatever they're called and for a fraction of the price. I've already decided that when this set dulls or a few break I will be repurchasing the same set again. You won't be disappointed by these drill bits fellas just go for it.

Hss, high quality

Great set of drills. I'm tired of buying expensive cheap drill sets that are not durable. I use these in both hand tools and a lathe/mill. They are excellent. Hand tools are the bigger killer of drill bits. Wobbly, misaligned, uncontrolled feed and not rigid. These seem to be holding up well. These are hss, not cobalt etc. The fancy drills with exotic sounding metals are best for specific machine tools. These are hand held tool capable. Cobalt drills chip and break far too easily in hand tools. If you are tired of cheap drill bits or are using hand tools, then these are for you. They are a shallower angle, 135 deg as opposed to 118. So they are slower to cut but are easier to control and stronger. They drill through ss easily. Just use lube.
