PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING Bird's Eye View raamfolies doorbreken de naadloze weerspiegeling van de leefomgeving om te voorkomen dat wilde vogels het glas raken.Gemaakt in de V.S.A.U.S.

Discourages the insane cardinal that attacks his reflection
This product is EXCELLENT. We had this cardinal that spent his days--ALL day!--attacking his reflection, obviously under the impression he was fighting a rival. Apparently, it's been going on since well before we bought the house two years ago. As hard as he was hitting the glass, he can't have been improving his mental judgment about the matter, and it was really annoying to us, as it was quite loud and persistent, and we work at home. I first tried "Bird's Eye View" on an upstairs window because it is too high for a similar product that goes on the outside of windows. Fast and easy. No more bird attacks at that window! Next, I used the other product, strips that have to be placed 2-3 inches apart on the *outside* of a window. Took FOREVER to put them up. I was so sick of the process that I decided to use this inside-the-window product on the other two panes of that three-pane window. Took a fraction of the time. While I can't be certain of the relative efficacy, the bird used to attack all three panes, and he hasn't been back. Stupid critter attacked windows on all sides of the house; after I placed "Bird's Eye View" on the windows he used to attack, he hasn't attacked once! It has now been a couple of months. We have occasionally had collisions from birds (accidents, not like the cardinal); none yet, though it's too soon to know for sure. The diamonds look pretty nice, too, like they're intended as decorations. I can't say it's the decoration I'd have chosen if there were no bird to be considered, but it certainly beats the ugly newsprint I had resorted to last year.

Worked
I feed the birds....a hawk has noticed. Twice that we know of the hawk flew directly into our window. Today, it came by and started to fly into it again but changed direction at the last second. Really, the last second, I think it's feet brushed the glass. I am delighted that I have not been responsible for the 3rd concussion for the poor thing.

Worked for a while
These worked for a while (less than a season) but then bird collisions started again. I'll try something else next season.

Pretty and easy to use but I'm not sure it's working
I really wanted to love these and I really wanted them to work because I love the birds in our backyard. We recently had a sunroom belt and from time to time would hear a thug. Once, I even saw a beautiful little golden finch on the ground after having run into the door.(I quickly googled what to do – waiting 5 to 10 minutes to see if the bird revives itself. If not, putting it in a box with air holes and letting it be in case it's just been shaken or has a little bit of concussion, I guess… Fortunately this bird was okay and as soon as I got within 2 feet and flew off.) After that happened, I looked around for possibilities. I saw all different kinds of tape that don't seem to have very good reviews. They seemed like more labor than Icould put up and would obscure the view too much. These seems like a great solution. On the upside, they're pretty. They're not too obvious. They're easy to put up or to move. They're relatively affordable compared with some of the other films. The big downside? I don't know that they're working. I've heard a "hit" or two. I've not been able to see what happened. So, I thought I should order more and that perhaps they hit somewhere there wasn't really a sticker as I'd only bought two sets to try them out. However, one night when the light was just right, I was able to see this imprint of two birds right next to the sticker. That one just below the point is horrific… It looks like a bird in mid-flight. To be fair, we have a ton of birds in the yard right now. They go through the Brome feeder in about a day. So, it's possible that these decals are doing the trick and that without it we would Have a lot more hits. So I'm going to keep an eye on things. I would have thought thatj ust needed more decals if I hadn't seen the two bird body imprints right next to one of the stickers. It's possible those birds had bird brains andthey just didn't see them soon enough. So, I don't love them, I don't hate them… Just not sure they're doing anything.

A little hard to remove from backing
These are "cloudy" window clings (somewhere between transparent and opaque" that are supposed to help birds see windows as a solid surface, and not a continuation of the trees/landscape they see reflected in windows. I think they will help, but I'd like to address the reviews about the difficulty in sticking these to windows. I understood the product to be window clings, so I was a little confused by the previous reviews indicating that they do not "cling" and the photo where the person used adhesive tape; I don't think those folks removed the clings from the acetate backing. These are window clings and they adhere like any other, but they are a little hard to remove from the backing. Most window clings are on a larger backing, so it is obvious that you need to peel them off. In these, however, the cling is cut exactly to the same size as the backing, with no extra backing for you to grab to help peel. I think some reviewers were unable to remove the cling from the clear backing or did not know to do so. It's hard to explain so I've attached photos. 1) Here they are in the package; each cling is about the size of a CD. 2) This is a cling attached to the backing. Note that it's fairly rigid. 3) Action shot showing the cling peeling away from the backing. 4) The cling removed from backing. Note that now it's pliable and ready to stick to the window. I hope this helps!

Save the Birds
I got these defectors to stop the birds from banging into my front window. I have not had any with these deflectors. Very happy with them.

Do they work? I am not sure!
I like the idea, but can not tell you if it really works. We starting installing 16 4"x4" and found it was a slow process to get them nicely aligned. I made a template to help, but it takes some time to get them up. We have had bird strike on our 10 glass sheets of patio doors, but so far can not say if they work. More when we find out.

Easy to use, seem to be effective.
Very nice, attractive. Easy to put on. Fingers crossed, they seem to be working.
