Looks great...but a little too loud

Love how this looks...and the price is fine. I bought it to go with my mid-century decor....the clover shaped glass container is thick and well built....and motor and housing look good...so far it has worked great. Only complaint is it is a little too loud, but not a big deal...love it!

Excellent blender for the money. On the Barefoot Contessa essential list

I am an avid cook and I love this blender. It is just the right size for me, looks beautiful and works effortlessly. I have made sauces and drinks and smoothies with it. The blades have had no trouble with frozen fruit of many varieties. In less than 15 seconds I make a smoothie each morning. I love the glass container as it is easy to clean and healthier than plastic. I use an immersion blender to purée soups so I would have no comment on that with this blender. Please do not compare with a Vitamix, that is a whole other type of blender and 4 times the price to get a good model. This blender is on the essentials list of the Barefoot Contessa’s website highlighting essential kitchen tools. I love it!

While it looks nice with the chrome exterior and glass pitcher

I make lots of smoothies and tend to blend lots of frozen fruit and vegetables. I decided to purchase this blender after my nutribullet pro died in me. The Waring blender is surprisingly loud and fails to blend things as smoothly as my old nutribullet, unless you want to wait there for a disordinant amount of time while things blend. While it looks nice with the chrome exterior and glass pitcher, it is surprisingly not sturdy when it's blending. There's no mechanism to lock it into place, so when you're blending frozen things at high speeds, it tends to jitter precariously on the stand, so you have to stand there and hold it in place. For the price, it's definitely not worth it, i should've just paid a bit more for a Vitamix or a blend-tec.

Good smoothies.

This blender is not a professional blender but for me is good. I blend every morning for my smoothies and it makes a good job...just put enough liquid with your frozen fruits. Good materials quality.

This Blender is Da Bomb

No fooling around with plastic parts on this appliance. All chrome, steel and glass - heavy duty and professional quality. This truly is a commercial blender designed for heavy duty use and years of service. It is hard to find a blender today with a GLASS container like this one. I recommend the higher capacity 40oz upgrade - it's well worth the few extra dollars.
