Great coffee if you don't mind a flood
My wife and I were excited about this addition to our newly remodeled kitchen. It has a much nicer look than other brands, similar features and a competitive price. The time finally came to install it, at long last, and what does it do... overfill the carafe and made a puddle on the floor. Ok, must be an adjustment. There is an adjustment for water volume. Even with the adjustment all the way down it still overfills the carafe all over the floor! The company offers zero support. They wash their hands of the problem and refer you to one of their authorized service centers who want to charge for service calls and diagnose the problem. I decided to try to resolve the issue myself. I regulated the water supply down to 15 psi from 60 psi which helped a bit. I added a flow restrictor in line. That got me the rest of the way there. I'm now finally brewing just below overfilling the carafe. Fast forward a month or so. It's flooding itself again. It turns out a slight bit of water continues to flow through the brew basket and into the carafe even when it's not brewing. If you leave it sit for a couple days these slight bits of water amount to a full carafe and guess what...water all over the floor. Stay away from this thing unless you enjoy spending $600 to have wet floors!
