Stopped working after 5 days

I had this set on an auto timer that was working flawlessly for 5 days. Then, one night after I was up late, I noticed the lights were not on. I tried to manually turn them on at the wall and the app. The blue light on the switch lights up and turns off like something should be happening, but nothing. I'm returning and just buying a basic timer switch instead of a smart one.

Not a good auto timer

Received this switch from Amazon. Easy connection. Programmed the switch on my phone and it worked perfect until the time change. Set new on off times and the lights would come on earlier than set and turn off earlier than set or not at all. Emailed Westek for help. They replied they make several switches and what was my model number. Took a picture of my Amazon order and sent it to them. After several days sent it again still no reply. Can operate in manual but sort of defeats an AUTO timer. Gave it one star for lack of support.

Great product with poor documentation

Programming this timer to turn on and off at certain times of the day was pretty easy. But creating a separate automation to have it turn off so many minutes after being turned on was much more difficult. At first I didn't even think it was possible. But after finding some on-line documentation I was at least guided in the right direction. It still took some time to discover the automation configuration screen (as opposed to the default scenarios screen). Once I found it, the number of possible triggers and actions available for creating an automation are very impressive. Correctly configuring the automation was still not intuitive, but now that I know how it works, it is a great feature. Assuming this timer continues to work without problems, I will definitely purchase more.
