De doorslijp- en slijpschijven van BOSCH zijn voorzien van de X-LOCK-bevestiging, waardoor het verwisselen van schijven tot vijf keer sneller gaat dan bij conventionele interfaces. Er is een hoorbare klik wanneer een X-LOCK-wiel op een X-LOCK-slijpmachine wordt gemonteerd. Het wiel wordt goed gemonteerd zonder dat een steeksleutel of flensmoeren nodig zijn. Het wiel wordt losgemaakt van de molen door aan een hendel te trekken. Cuts Great!!

I have a lot of tools, but recently had a job that needed a blade for my cordless angle grinder that could cut a steel fish tank lid; my son has recently acquired an axolotl, and we needed a lid that can keep the critter in while accommodating all the various pumps and filters. I thought these might fit the bill. The packaging is not great, which I rarely mention. It was minimal, which seems a bit lacking for an object like this. The blades are also surprisingly thin. However, they really do cut. The included adapter didn't fit my angle grinder, but it still worked. The current price of $30 seems perhaps a bit steep, but it did get the job done.

aggressive, fast cutting

These cut fast and cleanly. Make sure you have plenty of protection when using these, if something goes wrong they explode and send shrapnel all over.

Surprisingly aggressive.

I got these to cut metal roofing, but I decided against that after testing. Sure, these would cut through beautifully, but they are aggressive and a small mistake at grinder rpm's would lead me to irrecoverable damage. I actually like these blades though, but the steel roofing was the wrong application and I opted to take the slow and tedious path when working with that. Overall, I doubt you would have issues cutting what you need with this, and it even comes with it's own heads and tightening wrench which I did not use but look compatible with my grinder. The only thing I did not like, was how this was packed. Everything came in a ziplock like bag and the disks were plastic wrapped with two thin pieces of cardboard. I feel like this could lead to chipped disks with the other pieces loosely packed inside with the disks. No damage though, so I am not taking a star off here, but packing was not inspiring at first.

Crazy fast (but unforgiving)!

Weiler 58004 4-1/2" x 1mm Tiger ZIRC ULTRACUT Type 1, Z60T, 7/8" A.H. Bundle My husband often has to repair older farm equipment and metal structures, which usually means something needs welded. Since cutoff wheels are essential to this, he's got a lot of experience with them. The product description does not exaggerate: these are significantly faster than any other disc he's used. Because it is thin but also rigid, it makes clean, precise cuts and does an outstanding job at trim-cuts and detailing. The only downside to them is that the disc basically shatters if the material grabs or jams and does a hard kickback. You should always wear proper eye protection when using any wire or abrasive wheel, but you really should have a full-face shield and gloves with these. Highly recommend.
