perfect for my fellow cool-tone pale people
looks sooo good on me! i have small(er) lips and im very pale so a lot of lipsticks look weird on me. this one is perfecttt it’s moist and doesn’t dry me out it comes off a bit— but not enough to be noticeable.

Wet N Wild Lipstick Cherry Bomb #918D
I was torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars.. in the end I chose 4 because I am REALLY really happy with this color, it did not disappoint. I'm very fair skinned; blue eyes, red head, etc. The only non-norm is that I already have very pigmented lips so typically I don't even wear lipsticks, glosses, tints, etc. But I had been in the mood for a long time to try something new and I decided something plum, or wine-y was what I wanted. I have to be careful though because anything in the wrong shade will completely wash me out, or look much too dark. I looked around online a lot to find a good, affordable color to start out with and based off the swatches I saw on others (though none as pale as me) I decided to give this a go. The texture of the lipstick is.. not waxy perse, but it did stick a bit to my lips with every application. For the most part that doesn't bother me but I found that I had a bit of a hard time keeping this off my teeth, something that I've never really had a problem with before, than any other I've tried before. This also feathered quite a bit at the edge of my lips. I never was one to wear lip liner, but I feel like this could be an exception because the feathering bugged me so much that I've actually held out on wearing this. But the color I'm extremely happy with. It's just the right balance or color and darkness and I enjoyed wearing this on and off throughout the fall. I found it to be a gorgeous, sensual color but not too dark or 'gothic', and others seemed to like it on me too. It also didn't come off with every little bump or nudge and when my hair would get whipped around by the wind, it was pleasant to *not* see little pink/red stripes all over my face. It did stain my lips a little bit even after take off but it was a pleasant color, lighter than when fully applied and would be gone by the time I woke up. I had no problems with it staining the skin around my lips, because it didn't. Over all pretty happy with this. But I definitely think I'll be getting a liner for it in the future.

Love the color, goes on really smooth, and the price is great. The only thing I don't like is the case. For the price, I can't complain, but not long ago they changed the tube so that when you stick the clear top back on, you have to look at it carefully because the curve is assymetrical and it only fits one way. (Same problem I had with the much pricier L'Oreal lipsticks in their fancy gold cases.) One reason I started seeking it out is that, a few years ago, when they tested for lead in lipsticks, Wet N Wild had the least. Don't know if that's still true, but now it's my fave. Looked on Amazon after I assumed Wet N Wild had discontinued it when I couldn't find it in the stores. But right after I ordered it, I found it on the manufacturer's website for a buck each. So now I have a lifetime supply, lol.

Will dry your lips a bit but nice af color
This might sound bad but the lipstick feels like the DIY crayon lipstick you make when youre bored and feeling creative. However, this dries your lips compared to the diy crayon lipstick. That is the biggest con of the product. It makes your lips soo dry(mainly after removing it your lips feel dry af) and if your lips are too moist or moisturized the product isnt THAT easy to apply(the part closer to the inner part of your mouth will be hard af to apply on unless your lips are dry). Of course you are going to reapply because this stuff does not stay on after drinking, eating, etc. Its almost like if you arent used to wearing lipstick then the fact that this will come off from doing things like eating and drinking will bother you(it bothers me). You dont have to reapply often if you arent eating or drinking though. It stays on kinda well. Anyway, I love the color of this lipstick. Sometimes I even apply a bit on and wipe it off to get the beautiful reddish color it leaves on your lips afterwards. The color of the lipstick and the remaining color it leaves is just too nice so I gave it 4 stars but damn is this lipstick gonna dry your lips(It doesnt feel that dry during wear tho)

Cherry bomb is extremely flattering on all skin types
I love this lipstick shade and it looks good on everyone. I have very pale cool skin but this dark color actually makes me look so good, it’s one of my favorite lipsticks. It also looks great on darker complexions too! The only con to this lipstick is it’s not very moisturizing or long lasting, wearing lip balm underneath it can help tho.

It's a bit pinker than I thought
Wet N Wild is a matte, coral lip colour. Think of it as bright pink orange more than a bright red orange. Because it's matte, the formula tends to 'drag' around the skin, so I'd advise a slick of lipbalm before putting the colour on. Even with that, the colour is intense enough so it won't be affected by the balm. Alas, it's a bit too chalky for my skin when used alone (I'm mac NC50 if that helps), so I do use a brown lip pencil around the edges to 'damp down' the colour a bit. I think I prefer Wet N Wild's purty permission to this one, but at a cost of £3.50, I can't really complain!

Great colour that in with this seasons oranges/coral. Glides on, giving a thick even coat of full vibrant colour. Great choice of lipstick if you're looking for similar colours by much more expensive makes like MAC. I've been able to check out a MAC colour and find the match with the Wet &Wild range of lipsticks. I will say that the lippies are somewhat drying on the lips, but if you applying a small amount of balm first or a bit of gloss after, this usually helps to keep your pout well hydrated

Long lasting but dehydrating
These are some serious long lasting lipsticks with a lot of colour pay off. They are quite cheap but it comes at the cost of quality. They look great but they dehydrate the lips a lot. If I were to use these I would moisturise my lips really well before and after

FIVE STARS
Although I may have waited a little longer for this to come in the post - allow yourself time if you need it by a certain date! - I was very pleased with the condition of the product when it did arrive. It was untouched. The product itself is very vibrant and stays well; I do not feel the need to reapply after drinking or eating. Its not too dry, but also not too wet. I loved it so much I have just ordered Bare It All from the range too.
