Let’s be realistic.

Take it with a grain of salt. It’s a cheap nightstand so it’s pretty good quality considering. I saw a video posted of someone wobbling it on purpose and to that I would say they are horrible at following instructions. I have no issues with mine. I do with the drawers felt a little more sturdy but otherwise I think it’s a great product for the price.

Jigsaw puzzle

The assembly of this end table was okay after identifying pieces. The pieces are not labeled, so you spend about 30 minutes sorting and labeling before you can begin assembling. The drawer rollers are already attached, so that is beneficial. I do have one drawer that doesn’t sit completely level but it doesn’t prevent opening. You may be able to see in the picture above. I hope the drawers are sturdy enough to handle daily use.

Slightly above average, for the money you pay

I ordered two of these and here is a summary of pros and cons: Pros: 1- Better quality (more solid) than most products with ~$50 price tag. 2- The assembly of the drawer rails is already done so the overall assembly time is reasonable (~45 min) Cons: 1- If you are into perfection you won't find it here. The quality is good but expect minor flaws. 2- You may need to make manual adjustments to the assembly. First of all, the parts come in a box packed with Styrofoam, and this Styrofoam, for some reason (maybe due to stress during shipping), was broken into pieces and smaller particles. So when you open the box, you will need a vacuum cleaner to get rid of these particles, which cling to everything due to static electricity. This is more of an inconvenience that an issue. Secondly, the packaging is good, but not perfect. So there may be superficial scratches on some of the parts that are either insignificant or on the internal sides of the boards so you won't see them after assembly. I read in the reviews that this table has a bad odor. Well, it smells a bit like industrial paint, but seriously, what kind of paint and process do you think they would use for a $50 table? I'd say most ordinary people are completely fine with this smell and may not even notice it, as it quickly seems to wear off. But if you often find yourself getting a headache from other people's perfumes for example, consider buying something else. The material is pressed wood and it seems to be of good quality. It is covered with black paint and the paint job is very average. Expect to find waviness and unevenness in the finish. So if you are looking for a perfect finish you probably won't find it here. It is however passable in my opinion. Finally, after the assembly was done, I noticed that one of the drawers did not open smoothly so I had to take it out and readjust the screws on the pre-assembled sliding rails. I would give it a 3.5 but the only options are 3 and 4 here. A rating of 3 would imply that this is an average table, which it is not. So I opted for 4, but take that rating with a grain of salt. I think I would buy it again if I needed something nice looking and temporary. But to decorate a nice bedroom with nice furniture that will still look good after 10 years I guess I will buy something else.

Packaging nightmare!?

The table was nice but the packaging was a nightmare. I start by receiving my package early this morning. It was a decent winters day, not too cold, not too windy. I bring my package to my room where i then begin to open this complete unit of a box. I shed the first layer of box to reveal a smaller much uglier box from the seller i would assume. Cracking into this second layer almost felt like christmas! (foreshadowing) I was so excited to put my new endtable together and finally get the old one out of my house for good. I pull the top off of the travesty of a box when all hell breaks loose. Little bits of Styrofoam fly everywhere static cling wrap stuck to my floor my walls even my poor defenceless cats. They ran and clawed as the Styrofoam and static wrap took hold but they too would succumb to the terror that was in the air. As the Styrofoam dust settle i thought i had lived through the war that was waging in my bedroom but oh how young and naive i was. I peel back the first layer of wrap only to find reinforcements hiding inside. Like a modern day trojan horse, and i believed it, i fell fool for this trickery that was infront of me, but... I decided to soldier on. Peeling back layer after layer, shelf after shelf i have finally managed to unpackage this "accent table" ... But at what cost. My cat lay in the corner licking his wounds like a lion set loose in a snowstorm only to be beaten by a bear. My room left in shambles looking like the set of frosty the snowmans first adult movie, and there i lay motionless wondering where i had gone wrong in this world to deserve such ruin, such travesty in my life ... But over all 4 out of 5 good nightstand

Love this table.

Overall, I am pleased with this table. I am giving it a 4 overall because I am not particularly handy. I did not find it easy to assemble in spite of the reviews that said it WAS easy. That said, the handyman I called in didn't find it too tough to put together. Also, although it was well packed, one of the pieces was damages slightly and will require repair. All in all, now that it is in place, it looks great, is sturdy and is a nice addition to my guest bedroom.

Looks good but drawers are wiggly and don't slide easily.

We bought two of these to replace some old bed-side tables. It's exactly the size and colour we were looking for. They arrived in-tact and were straightforward to assemble. However, I'm not happy with way the drawers sit or pull. They sit very loosely, can wiggle side to side easily and feel a bit like they're grinding when you pull them out. I've triple checked the assembly and everything looks correct, it's like the drawers are ~1/2 cm too narrow for the opening. Still deciding whether we're going to keep them as the rest of it is exactly what we wanted. I am worried the drawers are going to start slipping off the rails after a couple months of use. - EDIT: 1.5 years and the drawers have stayed on fine. They're still wiggly but haven't been an issue. They're good for the price.

Absolute pile of garbage!!!

Rough finish, RTA's break with little to no torque, dowels are so poorly drilled that you might as well not use them, drawers bind and catch, engineering so awful that it can't hold itself square......I'm embarrassed to have it in my house!! I'd donate it to Goodwill but I'm not certain that it would survive the trip!!????????

Perfect

This item came in great condition, and was exactly as advertised. The dimensions were perfect for what I needed, and the quality is great - it's sleek and modern, and it makes good of its small size. Plenty of storage, easily assembled, and looks fantastic. Would highly recommend.
