Good value if you’re not going to use it constantly

Easy to assemble and it looks as good as the pictures. I got this for a room that will not have too much use, for a kids bedroom in a short term rental property. Great value. not the most comfortable chair and towards the small side but I would definitely recommend. Perfect for what I wanted it.

Look Exactly As Shown!

These chairs are SO COOL! I absolutely love them- worth every penny! The twist on the sides is very cool. They are comfortable, awesome quality! Color is what I expected so I was very happy about that! Would definitely recommend! The packaging was FAR BEYOND EXPECTED! Went above and beyond to ensure they came unmarked or defective.

Great Chairs

Bought these for my mid century modern house for our dining table. They look great, and were packaged extremely well. Some boxes were damaged, but the chairs were still in perfect condition.

Very comfortable for all heights.

These chairs are incredibly great. Affordable, easy to assemble, and extremely comfortable. At this price, if they last only a few years this would still be a great deal. Only criticism is two of the chairs arrived with small flaws in the legs. One some on the varnish of one leg, the other on the screw hole under the chair which was larger than the screw but the chair is sturdy enough and not worth the time and hassle to re-pack and exchange. The company was very amenable to exchanging and replacing, but was not allowed to just swap out the leg. They had to ask to return the entire chair so we opted to keep all. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect Match for Existing Chairs

We bought two Armen Living Butterfly Dining Chair in charcoal. We thought I would have to settle for 2 chairs to complement the existing 4 dining chairs we purchased elsewhere 5 years go at Lamps Plus. Instead we found an exact match. New on the left and old on the right. See photo. The legs in the Amazon advertisement were not an exact match for our existing chairs. But what we received actually matched our chairs. A pleasant surprise. Oh yeah. The chairs are very comfortable and have held up wells to 5 years of use. The new chairs were packaged well and damage free. Easy to assemble 3 screws per leg. Hex wrench and spare screw included.

Decent looking, inexpensive mid-century styled chairs

This is a "get what you pay for" type deal. The overall style of the chair is nice, but it looks cheap. The top half of the chair is bonded to the lower half, so you're going to see a seam. It's not solid wood. The chair is a little narrow. They will serve their purpose for the interim. Putting together 4 of them, with each chair using 12 screws using an allen wrench was a bit obnoxious, but what do you expect. They feel sturdy. If you're not looking to break the bank, these will add a nice flare to your breakfast area without draining your bank account. I've attached a photo so you can them. My suggestion to the manufacturer... Go seamless with the design, so it looks nicer than it does, you won't have the issues i see some people are having with the 2 parts not being aligned. Also make it a couple of inches wider and a little taller.

Poor quality control

The chair arrived with a chip on the armrest. I see that others have had the same issue. I find this more and more with items from China. There seems to be little or no quality control and items are clearly not handled with care before shipping. The chair is otherwise comfortable and attractive. I'm just using for myself in my bedroom. If I had it anywhere else in the house, I would return it, but it's not worth the hassle.

Lack of Quality Control: Defective Product

Gorgeous chair but arrived with manufacturing defects galore. The bottom wood shell (seat) was cracked/split. The upper shell (chair back) and lower shell (seat of chair) were misaligned and then attached without proper realignment. Veneer looks damaged due to poor sanding/ finishing. Shell forming seat back not securely attached to lower chair shell (seat) which is a safety hazzard that can result in serious fall & injury. I've ask for the chair to be replaced and am hoping that factory quality control had a really bad day when they made the chair that I'm returning for a replacement.
