Perfect boot bag

We love this boot bag. We bought 3 of them. It is large enough to hold your boots and helmet. We also were able to put clothes etc in there as well. I highly recommend it for the money. It’s a sturdy bag.

These are the best check your boots bags

Hands down these are the best check your boots bags. They are great because: -you can pack clothing in the side pockets and on top to protect your boots and helmet. Not only are they very well protected but you can pack an amazing amount of stuff in here -there are straps you can use like a back pack but a pocket to put them in when checking so they dont get caught -handle on the top where you need it -very sturdy I have used these to travel internationally etc. I stupidly bought one of the "cooler" boot bags that look more like a backpack for my kidsand while maybe if I someday am mountain climbing with my boots and skis they might be better for checking your boots not so much--less room and no way to pad your helmet. So now I had to go back and buy more of the athalon bags seriously--the best

tons of storage

Finally one place to keep all my ski gear organized - boots, helmet, gloves, goggles, socks, balaclava etc. Bought a different color for my wife so it's easy to keep track of which is which. Quality seems good so far (one ski trip) and looks good.

Great Bag for Boots and Helmet and a little extra

Very durable without being too heavy. Does the job and then some. Word of advice, order a unique color even if not your favorite. I saw this bag three times on my recent trip and accidentally picked up the wrong black bag not knowing it was not mine. Luckily the other person checked and realized they had mine.

5 years later and counting

Great bag that has been on planes, in the back of pickup trucks, stuffed into lockers, and has held up perfectly. It’s a great bag that fits all of the essentials (boots, helmet, goggles, jacket, pants, socks, balaclava, etc etc.) and it actually helps me regulate how much gear to take with me (if it doesn’t fit in here I don’t need it). The bag has plenty of room for everything and I love the little air holes for the boot compartments in case your boots are still wet when you put them in. I’d order this again in a heartbeat and I recommend it to anyone looking for an all in one bag that holds everything except your skis/snowboard.

Four Years Later

I purchased this bag four years ago and it’s held up to weekly use during ski season. The only signs of wear and tear I see are the gromits on the drain holes for the boot compartments are a bit rusty, but that’s on me for throwing in ski boots that still have ice and snow on them and not doing anything other than hanging the bag on my gear wall to dry. The bag easily holds my boots, ski helmet, goggles in their hard case, multiple pairs of gloves and mittens, neck warmers, hats, extra socks, hand warmers… all the extras you might wish for to adjust to changing conditions and maximize your enjoyment of a day on the slopes can be packed into this bag. It’s not a great backpack but it gets the job done if you have to haul it from the parking lot to baggage check and from baggage claim to your rental car or other transit. Mine is holding up to my abuse and neglect well and I will likely buy another if my current one ever needs to be replaced. I even took it along when chaperoning a week long school environmental camp in November and other parents commented “that is an awesome winter gear bag. Where do I get one?”

impressed with quality of this ....better than most boot bags I've had /seen. It is larger than most with a number of separate pockets and can fit all of my ski gear in for a week' holiday as well as boots.

Very roomy and well made

This is a quality boot bag with loads of storage space. All the gear shown in the photos easily fits in the Athalon bag with room to spare. We liked it so much, we bought another one for me! We're very happy with these purchases, see attached pictures to see how much fits inside. Nice feature: the backpack straps easily tuck away (easily hidden in zippered pocket for those who don't plan to carry it as a backpack).

Good quality, good price.

This bag is as described. I bought it for my son but it would be plenty big for my husbands ski boots and helmet. But it’s not so big that my son (9) can’t carry it himself. The compartments are big and easy to access. Zippers, handles, backpack straps and outside nylon material are sturdy. Good drainage and ventilation holes. I needed a boot bag I could fly with and this fit the bill. The backpack straps zip away for travel. The compartments are large enough I think I will be able to stuff all my sons ski clothes into it and not need another bag for our ski trip. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because I worry about the internal nylon material between the side boot and main compartment. I think it would have been better a tarp type material so I worry about its durabilit over time, but so far so good. I’m happy with the bag and the price. High end bags run upwards of $200 with no better features than this one.
