Go with GIRTH measurement!
I bought size 12 for my skinny 10 year old, whose girth measures 51". I thought I'd risk it, because all her other measurements would indicate a much smaller size. Size 12 has a max. girth of 51", but she complained the straps felt too tight. I should have gone with size 14. Quality seems very nice. It does not have adjustable straps, which is a pity. It is not see through. I think this would be a great leotard, but go with girth measurement!

My daughter loves the Bloch Microlux leos. She will choose these time and time again over all others. And we have tried a lot of brands. They do run smaller then other brands so keep that in mind when purchasing. Highly recommend.

Good, a little snug
My daughter is 11. Fairly long legs and torso. Wears a 12 generally. I was afraid to get too big so I went with her regular clothing size, 12. I would have sized up one.
