These are so much more fun than Legos and Duplos!

For kids ages 2 -10, but even adults like playing with them because the bristles allow you to combine pieces any way you like! Nothing restricts the assembly! And.... the wheels really turn!! They are safer than Legos because the pieces are much larger... And they don't hurt as much when you step on them in your bare feet! ;)

Sturdy, Versatile & Infinitely Creative!

I bought this for my 4 year old as one of his Christmas presents. I found it more versatile than Legos because the creations have more infinite possibilities, you can attach them from every angle and create just about anything! I only wish it came with more, I'll definitely be considering buying another set, although with this one we can create one very complex airplane and car at the same time, etc Everything fits well in its carrying case, which is a huge plus because I hate finding lost blocks all over the place, plus we can take it with us anywhere, so the carrying case is awesome. As far as age goes my 4 year old and 3 year old love it! And the pieces are not small enough that my 8 month old will choke or something if he encounters it while crawling around, plus he likes them too! Another plus is the Battat website says all their toys are BPA free, so I'm really hoping this one is as well. Overall a great buy, sturdy, creative, versatile, imaginative, and parent friendly!

It is so fun to see what he will come up with

I just bought these for my 2 year old son. He likes to create different things and put the mom/dad/brother/sister figures that come with it on top. It is so fun to see what he will come up with. I plan to bring these on an upcoming trip so he can play with these in the car. My only complaint is that the wheels that come with this set to attach to the blocks don't stay on that well when you build a car or want to make a child's creations mobile. There have been some complaints by other viewers that you have to line the pieces just so to close the container. I find that doesn't take very long to do.

A fun creative product that children of all ages will enjoy.

I bought this product after my grandchildren, age 2 1/2, enjoyed playing with a set that their dad enjoyed as a child. This product has more variety, brighter colors, soft flexible bristles, people and wheels which they were delighted with. My grandson built "trucks" and my granddaughter built "boats". Dad even got into the act helping them build, do we ever really outgrow these childhood pleasures! When they received the blocks, they played with them for days and I know it will be fun for them for years to come. And the container is well built and great for collecting all the pieces. The blocks are easy for little ones to handle and attach to each other and the creativity they discover about their projects make them giggle. A great product that I approved of 35 years ago and still do.

Creative play for kids, frustrating cleanup for mom.

My kids have lots of fun playing with these toys, and have come up with some very cute creations. My only gripe is that when it's time to clean up, the toys have be as compact as possible to place them back into their adorable carry along container. I have to stack like with like, and place them in a certain order to close the latches. My kids cannot do that. The actual toys are great, I should just dump these into a bin or an extra large ziploc bag, and get over it, but it just seems like a waste of an (almost) perfectly good container.

Toddler, Mom & foot approved!

I saw these at the bottom of Amazon while I was looking at something else and thought I would give them a shot. To say my 1 1/2 year old loves them is an understatement. They are colorful and easy for her to stack and put together and as an added bonus they don't hurt nearly as bad to accidentally step on compared to other building blocks. The four star rating is because this particular box of bristle blocks contains and odd amount of certain shapes. Both my husband and I feel like there could be more large longer blocks and less small triangular blocks.

Lots of fun, endless options but box is a tad small

I loved these as a kid so bought some for my own. They love the open nature of this toy and how you can make anything you want to. Lovely addition of some figurines. My only gripe is the box isn’t very sturdy and you have to carefully pack it in to be able to shut the lid. The box would be miles better if it was bigger. Nothing worse when you are packing up playtime and have to spend many minutes making it all fit back in the box.

Great play value

These are great blocks with a large play value. They are easier to use than lego or duplo, so are more suitable for younger children. Bigger kids will have fun building more complicated objects with these. These are a great gift for a variety of ages.

Excellent, imagination-building toy - great quality

My three-year-old's new favourite toy. (And mine.) I got sick of duplo, and he's too young for 'real' lego, so I was stuck looking for an age-appropriate, yet interesting, construction toy. This is perfect. And a great flashback to my own childhood, when I had these. Everything old is new again.

Easy to put together, colourful blocks

Great toy for less than 18 months and probably until 4 or more, The blocks are easy for small hands to put together and easy to line up. The 4 people and dog in the set can be included in what ever the child is making. I like that it comes in a portable case. You have to line some of the blocks together with others like them, to fit the blocks in the case. Wheels are included, so the child can make vehicles. I would buy this again for sure.
