Perfect Trailer Tongue Box

I received my trailer tongue tool box quickly and was as described. I wanted the Poly (HD Plastic) version for ratchet straps, and tools to be stored in that wouldnt bang around loudly (metal on metal) so this product was my first choice. Its not heavy (weight) but thicker and more HD than i would have thought it would be. I ended up buying some square Ubolts to mount to the trailer and drilled holes in the bottom and tighted down with large washers. Looks great and works exactly like i wanted and much cheaper than metal versions.

Roomy

Roomier than I thought it would be. Lots of space. Completely waterproof. Easy to install.

Not Bad.

My only issue with this box is 2 of my trailers are of average tow capacity and this box is about 1 1.5 inches not wide enough unless the box is positioned against tge tongue jack witch is not acceptable I had to add extra material to the trailer to support the box.Time will tell

Good but bad latch

I like the box but the latch can easily be pulled out of the mount. I welded mine to keep this from happening.

I'm happy with it. The chest was very easy to stall, great for tools ,strap, etc

The media could not be loaded. Only issue would been nice to come with steel starter screws

Sturdy box

I love this box. It would have got a 5 star rating if the cover fit better. It could use a seal of some kind to keep water and wasps out of the box. Other than that, it is a great and sturdy box. Fastened to trailer with 3/8 bolts and it's like a rock.

Light weight aluminum

This aluminum trailer toolbox was exactly what I needed. Fits on the tongue perfectly. Fastened it down with 3 metal screws on each side and I was done . I installed it in 15 minutes of recieving this light weight aluminum toolbox. I highly recommend it.

Very good storage !

I love mine. Its light weight but sturdy. I put a bead of adhesive down before mounting to prevent vibration. Buy with confidence ! Great value.

Box Damage

The box seems well made but the box is not packaged properly. The first box that came was damaged badly on the lid rear corners. And the lid was out of alignment because of that. That box was returned and a second one shipped to me. It also had damage on one corner, not as severe as the first box and I decided to keep it.

It is a good alternative to a metal tongue box at a fraction of the price

It is well made, looks good and has a good hasp lock that should secure contents to the extent possible. I have bought these before and have always like the ridgidity of the Aluminum box but for the difference in price this is an excellent alternative.

Love it. Tough. Thick. The locking mechanism is really solid. Fits perfect on my 26’ car hauler. Measurements were rite on. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again.
