5 stars for concepts, 2 stars for design.
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to love these. You will love them, if: 1. You have never ending patience, manual dexterity, and time. 2. You love Jenga. 3. You love scavenger hunts. 4. You love puzzles. Pros: They grip really well, when they stay together. They are lightweight and attractive. Cons: 25% of them will fall apart each time you’re using them. On the bright side, they are able to be reassembled. (See video.) I used them a few times. I just do not have the time or patience for these clothes pins. Jenga: If you enjoy a game of Jenga, you might like them. You definitely must use strategy to utilize his clothes pins. You have to hold them in just a certain way, so that they don’t fall apart while you’re trying to pin your clothes on the clothesline. If you move them even a quarter of an inch in the wrong direction, they fall apart. Scavenger hunt: if you like scavenger hunts, you will love these. Because, the 25% that fall apart, often do so VIOLENTLY. That means, they spring the three parts to the closepin in different directions. Now, you get to search your entire room looking for two clothes pin halves, and the clothespin spring. Puzzles: these can be challenging to get back together. You need hand strength, manual dexterity, and patience. Good luck.

you get what you pay for - cheap price and cheaply made
i bought another previously which was made more sturdy. needed more so i thought this amazon's choice would be better since it is also a clorox brand and it was cheaper. the first one i tried immediately broke apart. so i tried another - same thing. i tried putting it back together by placing the wire back where it originally was - sometimes it worked, otherwise i just threw it away. 50% of the time these pins popped apart. since i bought 4 packs of 24 of these and did not want to be bothered returning them, i recently tried clamping the wire on all 4 sides of the pin and will see how that works. it does not feel solid when you press it to open. you almost expect it to pop apart whenever using it. i would not recommend buying this product unless you are willing to clamp each and every pin before using - which i did. will see how this works.

Breaks too easily
I was initially excited to get these. I was throwing out my huge pack of wooden clothespins because they were becoming covered with mildew (bare wood + water = mildew, duh!). I hang dry all of my laundry, and we have a pool so there’s lots of wet swimsuits and towels to hang dry too. Clothespins work, when they aren’t breaking. It seem to be a pair breaking beyond repair every day though. It’s like a five minute chore to reassemble the clothespin, only to have it immediately snap apart when you try to use it. Repeat. I guess I’m going to pull out my mildewed, yet indestructible wooden clothespins until I find a more sturdy plastic option.

Do this before using! You'll thank yourself!
If you've already bought these, do this BEFORE you start using them: 1) Go buy 1" long #8 machine screws, nuts to fit, 3/8" flat washers, appropriate lock washers. You'll need twice as many nuts and flat washers as screws and enough screws to have one per clothes pin 2) Thread a flat washer onto the screw, slide it through the hole in the spring, another flat washer and a nut on the other side, just finger tight. Then lock washer and final nut. Be careful not to overtighten so that the clothes pin doesn't open or close easily. The key is to keep the flat washers snug against the spring and flatten the lock washer between the two nuts. 3) If needed, cut the screw to length 4) File both ends of the screw to avoid any sharp burs that might snag clothing 5) Enjoy

Springs pop out easily
These clips hold my laundry very well, even in the wind. The only drawback is the spring will come out very easily (part of the plastic holding spring bends & spring comes out). Can quickly put them back together but is a pain to keep putting them back together Love the color/design. Not sure if I would order again

Pretty cheap
These are pretty cheap. The first one I tried, the clip was trying to slip free from the spring. I really only got them to help hold some light skirts onto hangers in the closet or while air drying in the bathroom and they will work fine for that, but I would not recommend for anything heavy or if you are drying things outdoors in the wind. I think they would not hold for that.

Work great once or twice
These work great once or twice, but then inevitably fall apart.

I threw them away!
I think this is the first one star review I've ever given, but they were so bad I threw them away after Amazon cheerfully refunded my money and told me to keep them. They are similar to another brand I have, but cheaper and in smaller quantity, so I figured they'd be about the same. The problem is in the spring -- it's just too weak. When you open the pin, they have a tendency to twist apart immediately. I thought I'd just cull them from the bag as they did this, but just now one almost put a hole in a new shirt! The plastic part twisted completely OFF, leaving the fabric caught right against the end of the spring, which is sharp enough to put a hole in it, especially if it happened from wind rather than when I was putting it on. The upside of the spring being so weak is that I was able to carefully pry it open and remove the shirt safely.

Work well when they actually work
These close pins work well at holding clothes on a line, better than others we have used. The problem is the design of them isn't great since the metal spring isn't attached to the plastic piece. This means the spring separates and falls apart pretty easily, and then the broken pins have to be thrown in the garbage. If they could design a pin where the spring was actually attached it would be way better.

Sturdy Clothespegs
Surprisingly enough, clothes pegs that don’t fall apart are hard to find. Most are very cheaply made and don’t have enough health to hold things online or else twist apart easily. These Clorox pegs work well; they have enough grip to hold clothes in place and also wider top parts so your fingers can grab them securely. They also are quite sturdy and stay together better than many other clothes pegs I’ve tried. I tested one package and they workEd so well I bought two more.

ridiculous
Bizarrely bad product. The springs aren't aligned properly so the whole thing comes apart almost right away, and those that do work open at a weird angle and have to be handled very carefully or they break. All of mine ended up breaking within the first few uses. A completely useless, defective product that should be removed from this website.

Budget clothespins for budget uses
I rated 5 stars for sturdy. They aren't very sturdy but for the price I mean, you get what you pay for. They are sturdy enough for basic uses
