Tough as nails!

After years of using aluminum foil for everything, I read that it can leach metal into foods. So I began searching for a durable alternative and ended up on this Cuisinart dish. First, it's heavy! It feels like it could withstand a bomb blast. It has slipped out of my hands into the sink or onto the counter a couple times, and any normal dish would probably have been chipped or cracked, but this doesn't show a single nick after several months of regular use. The red exterior with white interior color is accurate to the photos. I cook only for myself, so I am usually making one or two slices of meat or fish, and it fits them without a problem. For cleaning, I combine some dish soap and Ajax. It can require a couple minutes worth of scrubbing, but it returns clean every time.

Not durable at all !! * updated*

Update: Cuisinart have been in touch and are sending a replacement. Ordered two of these, the smaller (this one) and the large size. Have used 5-6 times - smaller dish. Our last use to slow roast a turkey breast, we opened the oven to find a corner had cracked off. Juices seeped out into our oven bottom. Not durable at all! Considering we were slow cooking on low temp. Emailed Cuisinart directly hoping for warranty help and received zero response. With that, it will be our last purchase from this brand.

LOVE this dish so much!

It is not a 9x13, but the size is perfect. So very easy to clean, and I have used it for casseroles, brownies, cobblers, etc. Absolutely love it!

Versatile and beautiful

I use this little pan all the time to roast veggies, make bean dip, or cornbread. It works well when a 9x9” pan is usually called for. It’s beautiful too- nice for serving at home or parties.

Specs are wrong. Buyer beware!

Product dimensions do not match what you get. Site has dimensions in cm but if you convert to inches you will see that it eludes to a bigger version. What you get is not the same dimensions

Cocinera feliz

Le he usado bastante y hasta el momento todo ha sido felicidad. Luce bello todo lo que le pongas. Yo lo he usado para hornear a no más de 180°C y no he tenido ningún problema. Se lava con suprema facilidad. El refractario es sumamente chaparrito pero fácil cocinas para 2 o 3 porciones, incluso hasta 4.
