It doesn't look anything like Caesar Augustus. And his head is so tiny. Come on Toscano, do a much more expensive better one.

Measurements are OVERSTATED!

Product is more like 15 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide (not 18” x 10.5” as described). What’s up with that?? Also seems to look cheaper (more like plastic) than other Toscano products I own. Augustus deserves better.

Rome's first emperor, in faux stone!

I always wanted a bust of a great historical figure from antiquity, but the cost of one in traditional bronze or marble made such a purchase prohibitively expensive. This bust of Augustus Caesar in faux stone provided a great looking and affordable alternative. It's a good size, neither too large nor too small, and has a nice heft to it. The attention to detail is also noteworthy. My only real criticism would be that I don't much care for the irises being etched into Caesar's eyeballs. Most of the classical statues I've seen have smooth, featureless eyes, if I'm explaining it properly. But that's no big aesthetic deal. This bust adds a much-needed touch of class to my "man-cave" and I find myself admiring it quite often. Hail Caesar! We who are about to buy salute you!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well made and detailed this was up close. I was expecting much cheaper based on the cost. It’s well made and sturdy and a good size- I placed a standard-sized coffee cup next to it in the picture for reference. I’ll definitely be getting it its own pedestal. Very classy looking.

The item came very well packaged, in fact they may have over did it, however I guess it is better to be safe than sorry with the delivery handling. The bust is great. It is heavy enough to be secure on any surface. Larger than I expected. Detail is incredible.

Def worth the money. I think you get a lot of bust for the money and details of the face and armor are much better than expected. Considering the junk that’s out there, this is well made. I bought this as a gift and now going to reorder one for myself. My only complaint, and it’s not fair to call it a complaint, is I wish they did other historic figures so I could buy more.

Beautiful! Great price

This looks great on my bookshelf! The size is perfect for what I needed and it looks like how it was advertised. It's not very heavy but I don't really care about that as long as it looks good - which it does! For the price I paid, absolutely worth it. I bought many other items from Toscano after this. The only thing I would have liked more is the detailing on the armor but it's good enough. Very happy with this purchase!

To dispel some of the negative comments, the bust is quite weighty and won't fall over easily. The detail good as you would expect with a marble bust. Can't fault it
