Too many of them broke with 1st use
These tacks work well when they do not break. The pointed part is not well mounted to the top round portion, hence about 20% of them broke while pushing them in or removing them. That being the case, this product is not very sturdy, not a good quality & not a good value for my money.

Perfect for furniture making
My husband built cabinets for our bedroom used these on the bar that the drawer slides across. They were good quality and worked perfectly. Nicer quality than any others that we could find.

Drawer sliders
When you have old dressers with sticky drawers you can do one of two things, rub hard hand soap on the bottom of the drawer bottom edges where the drawer slides in the dresser opening or push in thumb tacks where the drawer slides in the dresser opening when drawer is opened or closed. The large head thumb tacks work well for that purpose. I used these for an old buffet cabinet. Sticking dramatically reduced.
