A Great No-Frills Cutting Board

Amongst all the cutting boards sold on Amazon, it's surprisingly hard to find one that is just, well, a cutting board. I don't want juice gutters or a handle or a fancy design. I just want a bamboo cutting board that's 14" x 20". That's what this is and I was surprised that it's also quite sturdy (3/4" thick) and good-looking. Also, if you ever destroy one side, you can flip it over and use the other side. It's perfect for serious cutting, but can also double as a nice-looking charcuterie board. I had read some reviews that said their board was rough and needed a light sanding (mine does not), and some others that the wood was dry and needed a mineral oil rub (mine was not too dry but I gave it an oil rub anyway). Great Board

For $25 this can't be beat! It's a good large size and heavy enough to not slide easily but light enough to be easy to handle. I've purchased this board 3 times now for different houses, and I would buy it again. One thing is that I recommend when you first get it is giving it a thorough rub down with oil (i used coconut oil), this wood is pretty dry when it comes. The one board I didn't treat with oil got a stain on it from vegetable residue, the other two are in still in great condition though.

Be careful with used.

Would have been perfect. But the one they delivered was a lot smaller than the one I ordered. It was returned but not for being a bad product. I do recommend these if you are on a budget. :)

I'm bored. Or Board

I buy a bunch of stuff in Amazon. Much too much. Sometimes I type random things into the search bar just to see what comes up. One day, I typed "I'm bored." This nifty little board came up. It looked nice. I ordered it. Arrived a couple days later. I wasn't sure what to do with it. I tried it as a frisbee. Didn't work well. I tried it as a fan. Too heavy. So I decided to install it in my van. All of a sudden, the clouds parted, the birds chirped and the frog I stepped on accidentally croaked. That was too bad. Wasn't the board's fault though. I really like this board as a small table in my van. It looks nice. It doesn't make a mess. Better yet, it keeps me from making a mess of the delicious food my wife makes me on our camping trips. Highly recommend this board. Now I can go back to being bored .

I had been using the plastic type boards and found they were damaging my knives so I purchased this one. It's perfect! It's size is perfect for meal prepping and my knives are no longer being damaged. I also purchased board oil as well to keep it in tip top shape.
