Carry handles don't fit, so don't expect to be able to use em.

Not tight

Nuts and bolts were found in box , I had to take apart the Pit to replace, Nuts and bolts on Dial we're also loose so I tighten . Other then that it looks nice

good buy for the price

Been using this a little over 2 months, a bout 5 times in 2 months. While the comments about defects or damage in the paint are true, I had a chip in the paint on rim and the flame king logo is not well painted, in fact at first glance, I thought I received a used product. But on closer inspection realized that was not the case, just a bad paint job on the "Flame King" logo, I think it is still worth the price. I got barley enough lava rocks to cover the element, had to use the extra bag too, would be nice to have enough rock with out having to use the "Extras." Heat out put is decent, for cool summer nights, we'll have to see about fall and I thought I wanted a bigger pit, but the size is perfect, for me couple of friends and neighbors.

Great for camping during burn-ban

Went on a weekend camping trip with the kids and needed to figure out an alternate fire-source due to an active burn-ban. Positive reviews for this helped me choose this model. Decided to leave the lava rocks at home and just use this burner on its own. We still felt warm, and the kids enjoyed seeing the free and dancing flames. It’s hefty but not super-heavy, and totally worth the space if you can’t make the traditional wood camp fire. Flames were big even on a very low setting - keep in mind I already mentioned we didn’t use the lava rocks. I recommend this for sure - glad it came with a cover and straps.
