Nice Brush, But Cup Not As Deep As Would Like

It seems to be a good brush. But I would like to to find something similar, but with a much deeper cup, while not being a lot larger in diameter. Also like that it has the standard 1/4" hex shank, so one can use it in more tools.

Missed Delivery Date by Several Days

I ordered this tool to do a brake job on my daughter-in-law's car. It is a great product and would have made the job a lot easier, but Amazon missed the scheduled delivery date by several days. I had to do the work this tool was bought for by hand with sand paper and a wire brush. Lesson learned, you can't rely on the promised delivery date. So I'll have it for the next brake job. Disappointed I didn't get is in time though. I'd mark it down but that isn't really fair to the product, which is as advertised. Missed the date and I pay extra for that, Noice.

Great little wire brush

Wish I had bought one of these years ago instead of dealing with a hand-held wire brush - has a hex stem so it easily stays in the drill without having to over-tighten the chuck - no wires fell out, and I used it for about an hour - needed to give my drill frequent rests because it was getting hot from the prolonged use - had to keep hitting the button in my drill that changes the direction (clockwise, counterclockwise) - depending on how you're holding the drill one direction will be easier than the other - didn't fit into all of the tight spaces (cleaning up an old outside railing that has some tight scrollwork)

Better than most. Really requires a high speed drill

Well priced and a little more solid than most other wire brushes. It's rated to 6000rpm where others are usually capped at 4500. These need all the extra speed they can get, they really don't work at all if you don't have a high speed drill. And its nice to have a little extra peace of mind since these things are known for throwing wires at you. This one hasn't hit me with one yet, but still wear eye protection. There are better ways to clean metal and remove rust but this is good for quickly covering an area that doesn't need to be perfect but where you don't want to damage anything or strip it down to the bare metal either, like the underside of a car before undercoating or around the brakes. Faster than using a brush. Once you use it a few times if there was any protective coating on the wires before it's gone now. Don't do what I did and leave it outside for a night, it was a ball of rust the next day. But soaked it in evaporust and its good as new. Now I give it a quick spray with WD40 after use and don't leave it outside and it's been good.

Nice, cheap and handy to have around.

This is a great item for the price. Very handy to always have a fresh one on standby. Easily connected to a cordless drill and this size wire brush is really versatile. Please Always remember to wear safety glasses whenever you are using this product. The debris and metal debris can be harmful hard to see particles.

They’re tiny and don’t last that long

It’s a good thing they’re fairy inexpensive. For they wear down quickly under continual use. One good thing is you won’t find the bristles flying off. It’s just that the steel is soft and thin. Therefore it can only handle so much. But it’ll do the job as long as you have enough for your particular project you’re working on.

Good value tool, cleans rust well

I bought this to clean my wheel hub and the inside of the wheels. This was very nice for that job. It is small enough to clean all gaps. I would recommend not going too fast with this! Definitely wear eye protection and a mask. This scrubs a lot of dust!

Not as versatile as hoped

Ordered this to remove the rust from the steel wheels, however, this didn't help as much as I expected. If you are looking to order it for the same task, order different type of brush instead, as this one isn't as effective as hoped.
