You have to have good anchors in order to put this up: These anchors kept breaking!
My husband is a structural engineer and also an excellent do-it-your-selfer. We have used Gatco Latitude II products for some years now but have noticed a diminishment in quality this time. Specifically, the wall anchors sent with the towel rack, for God's sake! You think include wall anchors that didn't crumble in your hands or break apart while trying to install but, nope, they put in blatantly inferior wall anchors which means Himself has headed out to Home Depot to rectify the situation. Why would any company do this??? I have no answer except for this one: QA/QC, which translates to Quality Assurance/Quality Control. They need it. This three star review is specifically for the lousy wall anchors.

Not so great
The shelf looks great but is very light weight and for some reason very difficult to install for me, possibly caused by problems in the mounting hardware. I purchased 2, one I was successful in installing, the other one is on its way to recycling.

Nice additional storage in the shower
This transitional style nickel shelf was a decent match/relation to existing bath hardware in our master bath. We have a large roll in shower and needed to be able to have towels available inside the stall so a shelf was the obvious choice. We'd had a really good one in our previous home and I was hoping this would perform similarly. Our handyman had a little trouble getting the shelf snugged up to the brackets that are installed first. It's on the wall but it doesn't feel beefy and stable. There's a little wobble and I can push the shelf up and down a quarter inch or more at the front. It seems to be firmly attached so I'm not exactly sure what we could do to make it more stable. UPDATE: I rounded up the tiny allen wrench that comes with this shelf and stood in front of it, pushing the leading edge up as far as I could without breaking it. I used the allen wrench to re-tighten both sides and it is now considerably more stable. There's virtually no wobble any more. Having said that, the product itself appears to be of good quality and the finish is even/clear. It holds quite a few towels and I now feel confident that I can load it up and it is secure on the wall.

A great deal from Amazon Warehouse.
Bought this "used" from Amazon. Arrived in perfect condition so I got a good deal. Easy enough to install and it looks great in my guest bathroom. I'm a big fan of Gatco fixtures and this one did not disappoint.

Nice Towel Rack and Easy to Install
I purchased one of the repackaged towel racks from "Warehouse" so I managed to save some cash while essentially receiving the same product. The only thing missing was the hardware, which wasn't an issue because I had plenty of my own. I identified two studs in the the wall corner in the bathroom over the toilet that were the perfect distance and used a pencil to mark around the two disks where the rack attaches to the wall. Drilled the brackets into the studs and had the rack up in no time. Once the rack is fully tightened, it feels very solid against the wall and holds several full size and hand towels. We like the look and the space-saving element. I would advise to use the strongest anchors you can find if you can't place in studs, as that is the difference of whether or not it will hold up.

Added an updated look to the bathroom.
I added this rack over the toilet for additional towel storage. Matched the rest of the hardware in the bathroom. Not for heavy items unless you have wall stud availability to anchor both attachment points.

Rod under rack too far from wall
The product is good and fairly sturdy. It’s difficult to install, make sure you have studied your structural needs. The anchors that come with it are insufficient for much weight. My only real design complaint is that the rod under the rack is way too far from the wall, so the towel hangs far out into the room.

Sturdy improvement to the old design.
Looks really nice. Easy enough to install. I bought this to replace a previous version that didn’t have the bracer rods along the hanging bar. Believe me, it NEEDS those rods so this is a great improvement. Those rods take the pressure off the whole structure so it doesn’t have to just cantilever out using just the screw mounts. This feels a lot more sturdy than the old model. And looks very clean and modern. It holds lots of folded towels on top. I hang my lightweight bathmat on the bar after every shower so it can dry. Even that daily movement hasn’t loosened it.

too flimsy......
shelf is too flimsy. Little bars bend under the weight of a towel. The supporting arm do not connect to the wall. On top of that, they arrived bent and half broken. Not worth the price.
