Game Changer!

I have had other portable peddlers, which are bulky, heavy, and oftentimes scoot all over the place; one of those pulled my muscle and cause enormous pain for months. This HurryCycle is an absolute game changer! Once you find the right tension and angle, it is excellent! I find leaning back in my chair and putting the base of the peddler about 18 inches from the front legs of my chair and the manipulator/handle at about 45 degrees to be the most comfortable. I get a vigorous workout without leaving my desk. The onboard computer stores my "steps", calories, and time until I reset it, so it's easy to monitor daily benchmarks. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to modify how the tension works. As it is, there are no discreet "gears" or fixed settings. While peddling, the tension does not move, but when you are not peddling, the handle does turn, which means you have to readjust your tension each time you use this. Black duct tape where the extender meets the base resolves this, but specific settings that lock would be better; I would gladly pay an addition $25 or so for such a feature. Overall, though, this is a wonderful tool. Portable, comfortable, effective, relaxing. Hard to believe this device only costs $50!

Practical and simple.

Due to the ease of use and slim profile, my mom uses this twice as much as her old traditional peddler. Plus I am less worried about the tripping hazard that a traditional peddler creates. My only criticism is that I wish the digital screen was further up the pole.

this is great to exercise while sitting down. my mother in law has bad knees so she uses this while she sits.
