Het beste cadeau dat je ooit zult geven! Ik werd verliefd op deze lamp nadat ik hem in een tijdschrift had gezien en hem als kerst- en zomaar cadeau heb gegeven en het is elke keer weer een schot in de roos. Een mooie lamp Ik maakte me een beetje zorgen over de lekkage die mensen leken te melden. Dit lijkt een natuurlijk gevolg van de zoutlamp, afhankelijk van de omgeving. Hoewel mijn kamer in de winter niet vochtig is. Een must voor mijn benauwde appartement. deze lamp staat de hele nacht gedimd op mijn nachtkastje. Ik heb het zachte licht in de kamer erg gewaardeerd en ik heb een verschil in luchtkwaliteit opgemerkt. Het lijkt stevig gebouwd. Ik heb deze lamp sinds augustus 2016 in bezit en hij ziet er nog als nieuw uit de doos. Restful & Pleasing to Me!

The first time I encountered a salt lamp was in a local day spa that features therapeutic massages. The warm, glowing product captured my interest and curiosity. That particular salt lamp at the spa was big, though,--a sphere kind of like something from a Harry Potter movie--LOL! The salt sphere was costing over $100, so it was beyond my budget at the time. My curiosity led to me Amazon to see if I could find a smaller, more affordable one. To my joy, I found that Amazon had various opportunities for a product like this, but to my worry, there seemed to be some negativity / problems about certain groups of products. I read all the mixed reviews from various products, including the horror stories where people had received defective, damaged lamps and beat up boxes. After landing on this product's page and mulling it over for a day or two, I decided to try the product...for better or worse. I clicked checkout, and I didn't set my expectations too high. So, the day came, and the product arrived in a nice, clean sturdy outer box with plastic air bags as internal cushions. The product was heavy, but its personal box inside the shipping box was in pristine condition---no bangs, dents, scraps, etc. My heart lifted! So, I carefully opened that outer box and encountered a white innerbox, then at last, the product in carefully arranged, secure bubble wrap. It was quite obviously new---not some display product that had been in someone's shop and stuffed in a box at the last minute for shipping. I did NOT see any broken pieces, shards, dust, or broken bulb! (The bulb was included; some reviewers had stated they had received the product with no bulb.) Also, one of the best things for me: no upfront assembly was required! :) Once the lamp was free from packing materials, it was ready to go! I flipped the generous-sized switch and received the beauty, magic, and joy a salt lamp promised to offer. In my experience with this WBM International product, everything was in perfect order--better than expected actually, and the product even came with a helpful little user manual that discusses the following: 1) Product Features; 2) Benefits; 3) Locations for Usage; 4) FAQ section; 5) Safety Instructions & Handling; 6) Operating Instructions and maintenance; 7) How to Change Bulb when needed / what type of replacement bulb to use; and 8) company contact information. I suggest that everyone read this information thoroughly before using the lamp! One of the FAQ questions caught my eye, and I thought it was interesting information to pass along to potential buyers: "What size should an Ionic Salt Lamp be to give the best results?" The answer was given with some examples in a little grid, but here, I will give you some of the information as text. Quoted from User Manual: "A rough rule of thumb is 1 pound for every 10 square feet." / For optimal results in large rooms, several lamps should be strategically placed throughout the room." Examples:Room: Office Cubicle; lamp size needed, 4-8lbs. Room Size: 10' x 20'; lamp size needed, 16-23lbs ** **You should be aware, though, that some people believe such products' health benefits to be an outright hoax / scam from specified source, and googling salt lamp scams can be very interesting reading for those that like to delve into more research and debates, You get to see people that swear by them and people who believe its all bunk--with everything in between. It can be really difficult to decide who to believe and why! LOL :) Health Happy product or Hoax--it's still an interesting, unusual lamp to me. The whole product is really earthy and natural looking, and if someone didn't like earthy and natural, he / she may not like this product. People who like smooth, "elegant" products and no jagged edges may not like this product. I, however, was pleased with the unique, somewhat egg shape of my lamp. I find its peaks and valleys to be most distinctive and interesting. From my view, the light's color is rather like a happy, warm orange that rather glows like embers in the fireplace. I cannot speak to its actual ionic health properties and / or as scam folks would say, the "lack there of." I believe that determination comes with more use and time and what people wish to research and believe or disbelieve as the case may be. However, in my home, this strange lamp comforts through its glow and appearance. It inspires creativity, conversation, and humor--really, its hard to be so miserable and serious around a lamp made of a large lump of salt! LOL I feel most blessed to have received a quality, intact product, and it is my wish that others receive the same quality and satisfaction with the Salt Lamp as I have. My advise is to read product reviews and informational articles first before you buy---especially with certain manufacturers as well as certain types of electrical chords / bases. Be safety concerned for you and yours as apparently there are a lot of inferior products in this category from certain providers / sellers! Be sure to look at SELLER reviews / ratings also. [I suspect the seller / manufacturers makes a notable difference between receiving quality and a box of junk --scams, crams, and otherwise.] A visit to the WBM International website can give you specific product details as it relates to uses for their products like the one on this page, its benefits, and even its alleged healing. Sometimes, with healing and comfort, attitude and belief are everything! If you believe something is positive in your life and helpful, then maybe in many cases that something is! :) Everyone's experiences are different. This is a lamp to rest or relax by, not to read by. As with any electrical product, exercise caution AND good sense, especially when changing the bulb or working with the cord. I personally would be mindful about putting this around small children or pets who might grab or bump it--potentially hurting themselves or the lamp. To help other buyers, I have added some images of the box I received. One of the panels confirms the UL listing. // I purchased the "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" option, and my salt lamp is from WBM. [There seems to be at least one competing product from Ancient Secrets and Tiger Dive!] Again read choices and reviews carefully!

Beware of product quality issues

I bought six of them to put on a master dimmer. The first one I plugged in was broken in an unusual way. I opened it up because no light came on and the bulb had been smashed. But no pieces of glass were in the lamp or in the box. The bulb had been broken before the unit had been assembled. I searched Amazon for replacement bulbs and found them and put them in my cart. Then I noticed that Amazon does not ship this product to my location. They ship everything else to my location, but not these fifty cent little bulbs. So far, nothing good is happening. Other buyers have had QA problems. I know that it is inexpensive and that I will be able to fix it myself, but this is silly. I'll just buy the bulbs on eBay. After all - it's only time and money, right? The overall craftsmanship is very good, but the factory needs to take a course in Quality Assurance 101. I will be making other posts to answer buyer's questions about replacement bulbs (LED and incandescent.)

Great salt lamp, but ugly cord and the dimmer switch is low on floor.

The rock emits a pretty orange light and I like how there is a dimmer switch. But the cord is really ugly. It's a thick cord. The dimmer switch is huge. And the black cord is in stark contrast to my white wall. Maybe if the cord was a medium to dark tan, it would look better. And it would be even better if the cord was thinner and had a much small dimmer switch. In an attempt to hide the cord and improve the overall lighting ambience, I tried plugging the salt lamp in other places. I plugged it under my TV on the TV stand, but I didn't like how it lit up some areas that I prefer to be dark. I then found a good spot next to my bed, but I ran into two problems. If I tried plugging it in one outlet, the cord was not long enough. And if I plugged it in above my mattress the cord would stick out from the wall and I would bump it with my head, pillow, or arm. So to get use of this salt lamp, I had to use a flat plug extension cord. Then my next complaint is how far the dimmer switch is from the base of the salt lamp. It's on the floor, behind the night stand. So I have to reach behind the night stand and fumble around on the floor in that tiny space between the night stand and the wall just to turn the salt lamp off or change the brightness. One other complaint is that on one side of the base, the rock overhangs the base. But on the other side of the base there is a 1/4" or 1/2" gap. I wish that the rock was more centered on the base. I didn't buy the newer version of this salt lamp because it looked a lot uglier for some reason and it was $16 more. I hope that this old version will still be available in the future in case I want to purchase another one.

The perfect nightlight

My daughter has a lot of bedtime/school anxiety that comes with nightmares. Being in a completely dark bedroom is not conducive to helping alleviate any of those. So I decided that this salt lamp could be a huge help. I told her the lamp had special properties that kept the nightmares away. That plus the dimmer and soft glow has had a HUGE positive impact. Bonus, it looks just like Bluey & Bingo's Lampy.

Good but on the smaller side

I got a used one and it came in perfect condition. The dimmer works well so far and it is very pretty. I haven’t had problems with it “attracting” water and creating a puddle underneath it. It was a bit small but it’s overall deserving of a 5 star review

One of my favorite house items

I’ve never been interested in a salt lamp until a friend had one and I loved it in her aesthetic so I all but ran and bought one. The first one I received did not turn on but returns were easy and they promptly sent me a replacement which works great. Packing was heavy for both because it’s a heavy item but was very secure for both.

Absolutely brilliant!

Love love love this product! Creates a lovely warm ambience and with the dimmer switch, i leave it on low overnight on the bedside table and i have never slept so well! Definitely reccomend!

Nice glow

Nice lamp, had for a short time but it is nice so far. I use on the brightest setting but I do like the option of the dimmer switch.

Pretty - yes. Beneficial - ?

Can't say I've noticed any particular benefits from this but it is a pretty lamp. I've noticed a few crumbs of salt around the base of the lamp on the table a few times now, not sure if that's normal or not? I ordered two of these and only kept one as the other was not very nice, it was a rectangular shape and looked more like dirty ice (very pale yellowy white) than the lovely pinky peach /amber colours of the pictures

Pleased so far

Seems good quality and there was nothing to assemble. You twist the switch on/off and as bright as you want. My cat seems to like it! She immediately went to sit on the sideboard by the side of it and was very content.
