Tool-less assembly, made to fit Mobile Base Kit perfectly
Superb addition to my Jet Mobile Base 708118. My Jet cabinet saw with extension table is now mobile. When I need to move it, it glides easily and is relatively easy to turn. When it is stationary, it stays secure. Tool-less assembly is sweet, and it connects easy and securely to the mobile base. The one issue is that as you grab the table to move it, one of the table legs would slide off the extension base. This is because the Jet Cabinet saw extension table isn't centered on the base of the saw. It is attached forward a bit to the heavy steel rail that the fence slides along. The extension base comes from the center of the base, but the table legs (and table) are shifted to one side, putting one leg very close to the edge of the extension's ledge. One "C" clamp remedied the situation.

Easy to assemble; Can be difficult to move.
Purchased this mobile base extension for a Powermatic 1791001K PM1000 Tablesaw. I have limited space for tools so everything in the shop is mobile. This stand works well. I purchased the Jet mobile base that was recommended by Powermatic as well. It’s a bit pricy and there are aftermarket extensions available, but it assembled in minutes and is very sturdy. My one complaint is that the wheels are not pivoting which makes moves the 5 foot table saw with the extension difficult. That being said it just takes a little more effort. The locking mechanism works well and does keep it in place. For the price of the extension it would be nice to have pivoting wheels.

Ok, but has some qurks
I purchased this to go with a Jet adjustable base for a new Jet Exacta Table Saw with 50" extension I recently purchased. Out of the box, it fits "reasonably" well, but the holes in the rail do not align up for a snug fit with the table legs attached to the extension table. Once set up, I needed to place a 3/4" block of wood between the legs and the angle iron to assure a snug fit. After adding the block of wood, I also added a C-clamp on each leg to hold the extension securely to the legs (without doing this the legs would fall off the angle iron when moving the saw). With a little work and a 1/4" drill bit it would be easy to modify the base to the correct length and not require the wood spacers. The wheels on the extension operate well, but do not lock securely so the saw will continue to move with just moderate pressure. Overall the extension works well, but certainly not quite right. As with the "universal base" Jet should be able to do a better job with this item and have it fit right out of the box without the need for drills, spacer blocks and c-clamps.

Very well built and works very well
I've got a ~15 year old Delta 34-445 Contractor saw with the 52" Biesemeyer fence, and now I can move it around literally with two fingers, and I don't even mean two fingers pushing against the edge, I mean two fingers pressing down on the table and I can move/spin it anywhere in the shop. I'll try to upload some video because it's pretty impressive how smooth the whole thing is. I was impressed with the HTC-2000 stands I got for my drill press and jointer, but they aren't even in the same league as this one. It's very quick and easy to assemble, very high quality hardware. Two minor cons: 1. If you lean against the saw hard enough, you can move it a little bit, however that only happens when I'm really leaning the lard (I'm 240 pounds) into it such as when changing blades. In normal use it's stable. 2. I've got an Excalibur overarm blade guard, and it has an extra stabilizing "foot" that extends from the end of the Biesemeyer table down to the floor. The foot telescopes, so all I've got to do is loosen the knob and lift it before rolling the saw around, It would have been nicer had there been a slightly longer bottom to the L bracket so that the foot rested on it. Recommended!

Looks okay, but poor flimsy design needs modifications
At first I didn't really think about how this would be flimsy. For $80 as an add-on to their standard mobile base this thing should absolutely be more rigid and shouldn't require any extra work to make safe. I just put my saw together this weekend and could almost not be more unimpressed with this base. It was easy to put together, which is a minor plus. But, the flat bar that's used to connect to the main base is only rigid in the up/down direction. It's a flat bar and can easily flex several inches left or right. What I found was the extension table legs would pop off of the angle iron -- as there's nothing holding the legs in place -- every time I moved the saw the legs pop off. This base will need some modification to give it rigidity if I am going to have any confidence in not snapping off the support legs. I'm not sure how this product was tested and approved in it's current state. It's so flimsy I can't believe they are selling it like this. I'm going to do one of 2 things: 1) create straps and bolt them on the surfaces that hold the casters (as long as the bolt heads don't create interference) 2) take that flimsy bar and either weld a piece of flat stock to it or make a piece that fits over it and gives in rigidity side-to-side. There are simple solutions the company could have come up with without having to put this extender out there. You can buy this if you bought their universal base, but beware that it's super flimsy and will require modification to make it sturdy. ******** Edit 4/16/19 (changed to 1 star... would be 0 if I could): I've now owned this extension for about 2 months and I will tell you it's completely worthless. This extension actually broke the leg off of my extension table. Whenever you push the table saw the extension flexes as I described and the legs pop off of the L bracket since nothing will keep it affixed during movement. It only took moving the saw about 3 or 4 times before one of the legs broke loose on my brand new table saw. This is an incredibly bad design that does more harm than good for your table saw... you are honestly better just leaving your legs hover off the ground. This product will very likely result in damage to your table saw legs without modification to stiffen it up. What a terrible design... designed by the same manufacturer of the very table saw I'm using it with. If I could get a refund after 2 months I absolutely would. Do not purchase this item. EDIT: It's now November and the extension table legs have broken off of my table saw due to the instability of this horribly designed product. I've now just removed the extension and am going to try to think of a solution. I cannot stress this enough... don't waste your money on this. It's completely worthless and will result in damage to your table saw legs.

Fit the bill
Works great but my husband had to put a two by four below because the feet would fall off the support.
