Fun game to play!

My kids are very motivated to learn when we play a game and this one is so much fun! It is easy to adapt to what you are learning (sight words, first sounds, et.) and keeps the kids engaged!

Engaging!

This is such a fun & engaging way to have kids practice identifying sight words. I modify the game by having my students try to spell the word after they "caught" it or by having them use it in a sentence. They love it and ask to play it all the time. The only issue it that the word tiles will split in half when you try to remove the ships which have a suction at the bottom.

Great for sight words

My kids enjoy playing this game. It is great for sight words. The suction handles does suction well. The only thing is that it takes a little extra strength to take take the piece off and they are made out of thick cardboard stock so feel like they are starting to fall apart a little, but overall it’s a great game!

Fun and educational game, unsure of durability

I bought this to work with my 6 year old that just finished kindergarten. I wanted something to keep practicing sight words over the summer. We just received it and have played it once so far. He really enjoyed it and we had fun playing together. I love it when he doesn't realize he's learning! It's a cute game and he liked the space ship "slammers". I like that the different levels of sight words are easily differentiated by color. However, I am worried about it's durability. As I said we have only played the game once so far and we are seeing signs of wear. As can be seen in the picture, some of the word discs are separating when the suction slammer is removed. My 6 year old isn't particularly strong, but the auctions cups do their job of sticking well. I'm concerned that after playing a few times too many of the pieces will be damaged and unplayable.

Fun learning game

My students love this sight word game. But unfortunately, the first time we played it a lot of my discs came apart. They are 2 sided and the suction peeled one side off. One of my coworkers ordered this also and hers is fine. Much more durable than mine. I’m assuming mine are just a defective batch.

Great as long as you have an extra person to be the caller

It would be better if there was a list of the words for each color level or a stack of cards for each color level to draw from so that just two people can play it with a more fair advantage.

Fun Game

This game is awesome for kids, my sons teacher sent the link to show what she was doing with the kids at school so I ordered it and my son enjoys it very much.

Second Grade Students LOVE This Game!

My second grade students flock to this game over and over again! I have used this game for part of a school year and several chips are peeling apart. We had to retire the ships because the suction was too much on the chips and was literally ripping the paper off them.

Great for Sight Word Practice

The kids love this game. (Ages 7&8) The little spaceships are really cute and durable. Definitely have to agree with reviews saying that the cards de-laminate. After one session of slamming, 3 were peeling apart. We will still play it lots, but have no suctioning the cards. We use the side of the suction bottom instead.

Very educational

I bought this game for my son (6) for learning purposes but I didn’t want him to know it was a “learning” game. He had so much fun and wants to play it everyday! It’s been so good for teaching him common words.

We love this game. The suction space ships work very well. And the word "cards" are thick and sturdy. Lots and lots of sight words, and many different "levels"
