Onze ankerliersets zijn ontworpen voor boten van 28' - 38' en voor kettingmaten 1/4 G4 ketting. De maximale trekkracht is 1.000 lbs. en meet 7 B x 5-3/4 H x 9-5/8 L. De horizontale ankerlierkit heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een volledig verankeringssysteem inclusief de ankerlier, drie M8 tapeinden en moeren, 70 amp stroomonderbreker, bewaakte tuimelschakelaar , solenoïde, Lewmar wench, boorsjabloon en installatiehandleiding. It was on the boat when I bought it. I have now had the boat for 3 years and had no problems with the windless. After reading a number of negative reviews I wonder if some people are using the windless as a cleat.

Poor design - failed after 3rd use.
I purchased this unit and it has not worked from the start. The marina where it was installed informed me that Lewmar stated it was operator error and they would only pay to fix it one time. I waited 4 weeks for the part to come in....all the while having to hand pull the anchor. When the part came in it broke on the 2nd try. I only anchor in 3 ft of water at Crab Island/Destin, FL. There is no reason for the part failure. I waited again for 4 weeks and even bought 3 replacement parts so I wouldn't have to wait 4 weeks for another should it fail. Guess what, failed again. They still claimed operator error. I called the Customer Service line and after 45 minutes I finally spoke with Tony. I asked how it could be operator error since I was only pressing a button. He advised since I was using a 3 strand rope I could only pull it up 3" at a time (inches...not feet). He stated if I purchased an 8 strand braided rope I would not need to come up 3" at a time because the 8 strand rope will not twist and break the piece that guides the rope into the rope locker. I ordered the 8 strand rope, replaced the piece that guides the rope into the locker. Guess what? The piece broke again and it gets stuck. I have to take the unit apart to retrieve my rope. Very difficult when I am running 2 charters and only have 15 minutes in between each one!!! Now Lewmar states they will give me a 50% discount off the retail of the next unit up. They made sure to tell me this was not a replacement and they didn't want the other unit returned. Well, I found out the retail list for the unit is $1470.00 and I would have to pay $735.00 for the new unit. I checked at West Marine and they have the same one for $700.00!!! Lewmar is not giving me anything!!! Yes, there is a 5 year warranty on the unit. I have to pay $50.00 to ship it to Jacksonville and they will replace the little plastic piece and return it. I am sure it is going to break again since I have had it replaced 4 times already. What they do is delay you until the season is over because the repairs take 4-6 weeks. They take 7-10 days to respond by email. They told me they would refer me to their Sales Dept. I am not to contact West Marine because they are going to "help" me. Yeah, right. I've already ordered another unit. I think I can file a consumer complaint since they know their product is defective and a very bad design. There are numerous complaints for the same thing I am going through. What a sorry company to know they have a bad product and keep selling them and dancing people around until the season is over. At this rate it will be 2 years I have been messing with this. Did I mention I had shoulder surgery and needed the anchoring system because I can't pull on the anchor rope!!! They just really don't care!!

I had a pro fish 1000 installed professionally. Also bought correct Lewmar 8 plaight line.It had clutch slip issues then completely broke. `Lewmar will not honor warranty , also got outright nasty on phone . They demanded pictures of install. Windless was installed in july destroyed in august . maybe used 5 times I have NEVER seen such poor public relations. They know this equipment has major issues and DON'T care. Piece of crap, horrible , they just don't care. Blamed me for everything not tying off , wrong rope/chain , incorrect install , anything you can think of site unseen. All I can say to anyone is don,t get involved with this company at all .Being replaced with a good . Also as a side note other people in my marina have had similar experiences . RUN from this equipment/company

The Lewmar pro fish 1000 what a pile of crap!
