Great bit , price fluctuates worse than stock market
In my opinion , simply the best router bit to cut acrylic sheet. I have tried others and have had chipping , birdsnesting , and rough edges. This bit when I run it at 15000 rpm 80 ipm on my CNC router gives me the confidence that I can walk away and eat a sandwich until the cut is done. It leaves what I call ant hills of fine chips around the cut lines and when it's done cutting I can't feel any heat buildup. The only complaint I have is that I purchased one for $20 and some change, and a week later when ordering 2 more the price had gone up $6 , that's over 25% so I give it 4 stars because of the price gouging

Expensive... But Well Worth The Price
I tried several lower priced .0625" carbide router bits for cutting ABS plastic sheets, in thicknesses of .25", .125" and .050" and this was the clear winner by a significant margin. It cuts faster with a plunge cut of .13" deep at 45 inches per minute and 18000 RPM. I can probably push it faster. The chips are a bit larger and fully formed, as opposed to making small chip dust at any feed rate with the other bits. There is no noticeable heating of the bit so apparently the heat is carried away in the chip. There is very minimal deflection in the bit, even at full speed so the dimension of the cut part is maintained and the surface finish is excellent. The chip extraction is phenomenal, so there is no chance of a bird's nest of chips accumulating on the bit. This is critical for production work where the CNC program might run unattended for two hours. This is the only bit I've found that allows me to walk away from the machine. The others required me to pause the machine every few parts, turn off the spindle and pull a little ball of fuzzy plastic off the bit, or worse, pull a hardened molten blob of plastic off the bit. The excellent chip extraction also results in a great surface finish on the cut parts, as the chips are never recut. I hate spending this much money for such a tiny piece of carbide, but it's definitely worth the cost. If you're running a production shop, don't even bother with cheap bits. Yeah, they work, but not like this!

Not the expected results
Three stars for tool sharpness and manufacturing. Minus two stars for not making a clean cut. I am using this bit in CNC router. 15000 rpm and 4mm feed rate. I had to do a lot of deburring after cutting. So I went back using down cut two flute but.

Truly awesome for polycarbonate!
For cutting plastics, no other bit compares. Proper chip size is essential for a quality cut, and this bit is perfectly matched for hard plastics like polycarbonate (which are relatively "soft" material). With its one flute, this bit takes big bites to keep heat low, then ejects those chips effortlessly to cut quickly yet cleanly through polycarbonate and other hard plastics. Note that this bit ejects chips upward (i.e., normal), which can cause thin plastics (<1/4") to lift during cutting. Another version (62-725) ejects chips downward, which helps hold material to the work surface. Also, this part# is a 1/4" cutter with a 1/4" shank; the description and specs incorrectly list it as 1/2".

good bit
Great bit only you have to be careful they break very easy to which I did and because they cost a pretty penny I decided to go for the 10 each ones from China for less money. I just can't afford to keep buying these when they break. Note it broke because of me not because of anything about the bit. They bit is very good just priced to much.

Disposable tool. Lasts just for a few jobs.
The cut is clean and precise. But lasted only for 3 jobs. I cut HDPE and polycarbonate plastic sheets only. On a simple circle cutting of Polycarbonate plaque 1/4" thick,at 18000RPM and 150 ISP, the this tool broke in half.

So much in such a small package!
This plastic bit is the beast of all bits, not only did it work wonders on HDPE, but any type of plastic I have run on my CNC this thing has worked wonders. Clean cuts and had no issues! I wish i had money to buy more bits, but when i do, I know where I am going!! (PS: This bit is super sharp!! i cut my finger taking it out of the chuck!! so beware)
