Great...but
completely functional, but a little noisy when moving.

Great waterproof cover
I love this thing. It’s totally waterproof, the hood sits right so it protects my face from rain but doesn’t fall over my eyes. The large fits my long arms and is big enough to fit over a mid weight jacket. This is a windbreaker/waterproof shell type of jacket. It works great for those purposes.

great quality item
This jacket is very thin and lightweight, making it easy to pack and carry, yet is very waterproof--- even more than they claim it to be, and it has a nice hood. It is well made and durable. I had one for years and only bought this replacement after discovering that I had left mine at a relative's house overseas. Too bad they don't make any sizes for heavier people. After gaining some post surgical weight i tried to buy a larger size, but this jacket is slender and form fitting and only designed for slimmer folks, so i wasn't able to wear mine until I slimmed down. The item is form fitting and looks good. I like being able to pack this jacket (I also have marmot pants) in my day pack and avoid having to carry a heavy raincoat.

Really Good Rain Jacket
I don't remember where I read about this rain jacket but I went for it because it had good reviews and it was cheaper than most rain jackets. Although it was cheaper, it definitely performed as good as jackets that are double the price. The jacket lasted me trips to 6 different countries and up more than 10 mountains and about 3 rainy seasons. It definitely put in a lot of work and it handled every drop of water like a champion. i can't recommend anything else over this jacket. Get this jacket, you'll be saving yourself money and getting an excellent jacket. The zippers are sturdy and easy to manage. I wasn't a fan of the armpit zippers but they did work when I needed extra ventilation. The elastic chords at the wrists were a perfect touch for keeping water out, and the hoodie did a great job and was easily concealable. Only problem was that I still got kind of wet from all my sweat, as the jacket didn't breath great, but then again, I'm climbing a mountain with it so it's fair.

Fit me
I like my new jacket!

Great
Fits me very well and keeps me dry from rain. I do get a little sweaty still, even with the pit zips completely open.

From Backcountry to Supermarket, does the trick nicely to keep water out.
Lightweight, packable, water resistance to keep you dry in a light rain or medium storm, this is it. Great value for the price. If it’s storming heavy, a small jacket like this won’t keep you bone dry. You wear this jacket to prevent getting soaked from a standard rain—it works great but it’s helpful to know what breathability means in the context of rain jackets: you’ll still start sweating if it’s warm outside or if you’re moving around because the same membrane that keeps water out, keeps heat and water in. I’ve seen people rate jackets low for this…that’s literally what you bought the jacket to do! The other cool things about the jacket are good adjustability and nice and snug wrists. Plus it has a nice cut that uses just the right amount of material—whereas some jackets have too much extra material floating around and others have too little.

Size L men's is too small for an athletic build.
According to my son (YouTube Northern Scavenger), this is a good rain jacket and packs up very nice. The shoulders, chest and the arm length are too small. He has wide shoulders and a narrow waist (athletic build) and where L is normally okay, in this case L was too small and XL would be too big. He had to return it.

Excellent product
This is my second Precip jacket I wore the last one hundreds of times before catching it on a nail and damaging the fabric Loved the old one and love the new one The arms fit snuggly and are longer than average: for rock climbers?

Good quality and stylish packable shell. A bit clammy in warm conditions. Recommended.
A good quality waterproof jacket that is more stylish than a sports specific shell and that is reasonably packable. Biggest niggle is that it can get a little clammy in warmer weather, however zipped side vents do help. Recommended for normal use, but not for active use on warm and wet days. Pros Fully waterproof Good quality seams and zips and feels like it will last a long time. Zipped side vents Good pockets Quite stylish for every day use. Very light and packs down to size of grapefruit. Doesn’t crease when packed. Packs to about size of a grapefruit Given that it is just worn for short periods it is comfortable Cons Can get a little clammy if humid and above 19c but ok as long as no strenuous activity is involved. The hood is far too large and obscures visibility. Wearing a baseball cap underneath does stabalise the hood, but it can look a bit weird (I don’t mind, ‘weird’). Hood can fall protrude from collar when rolled up because there is only 1 central strap. Not advisable to be used for sports or moderate activity. It rustles a bit when it is worn.

Waterproof, but not long lasting.
I've been wearing this off and on for a year. It already has its first spot where the waterproof layer inside has peeled off. It's a waterproof jacket, and very lightweight, but has a short life span. This has been my experience with other brands in the same price/quality range.
