Had Recent Inguinal Hernia Surgery

The jock is providing the "elevation" my doctor recommended to mitigate the swelling and discomfort in my groin and genitals from my recent surgery. It's the first day, and it appears to be comfortably doing the job. I'm of an older generation accustomed to the use of this type athletic supporter while working out in shorts, but I'm not so sure about going "semi-commando" in wool dress pants. To address that concern, I wear my not-so-supportive boxer briefs over the jockstrap. Problem solved!

Scratchy product

I have used this product in the past and was happy with it. The new version is very scratchy as the fabric is not soft.

enabled running with large spermatocele

pouch material stretches easily in all directions, enabling me to continue vigorous running exercise despite having a grapefruit-sized spermatocele. Other brands feature smaller, less expansible pouches rendering them useless. On backpacking trips, have worn continuously for more than 12 hours over consecutive days, without the least discomfort or even awareness. Needless to say, the $20 cost is negligible compared to the surgery, allowing me to continue my active pursuits.

Great for unicycling

These are awesome! Everything is held in place very well. You can jump, run, shake, twist, dance, and unicycle with these, and nothing moves. Wow where have these bin all my life, these work great for unicycling as it keeps everything in front and when you pelvic tilt it doesn’t pull the front pouch tight causing everything to fall down and in the way. I’ve tried many types of underwear but non compare to these. The open back is great too! Eliminates bunching and the pain that causes during a cycle. Plus having a hairy but, it’s built in air conditioning. Interesting fact is that jock straps were originally designed for bicycle jockeys, and I can see on a unicycle the reasons for how the jockstrap is constructed. The elastic straps in the back are made to keep the front pouch from moving no matter how you bend, and the minimal fabric keeps the area between your scrotum and anus free to weight bear, on a cycling seat or saddle, without chafing, being to hot, or uncomfortable. This specific product seems to keep the original design of a jock strap that works without being erotic, just doing its job. Waist is a comfortable and effective material, doesn’t fold over on you. I can’t comment on longevity yet but it seems it will be reasonable, the elastic waist and back straps are a little thin but not cheep feeling, should be good for a good wile. The front pouch seems substantial enough to last.

Athletic Jockstrap

I’ve been a jock wearer for sports since high school and I’ve used this brand for almost 20-years. Got them from Champs Sports. Style has slightly changed though. The band is half an inch narrower and colourway used to be black/green. Theses days I use them for lifting and running in addition to tights to keep the sweat away and ‘the boys’ from sticking to my legs. I like to be snug in place!! ????????‍♂️???????? BLACK - The pouch tends to fit tighter and keeps snug longer. I find it more elastic overall. IMO WHITE - The pouch gets stretched out quicker but the straps on the butt crease are more comfortable than the black. These are not a hockey/baseball cup jockstrap. It’s more of an NFL, Rugby, Lacrosse jock.

Comfort for the boys finally

Having a bout of epididymitis for the first time, I’m an avid runner and cyclist and haven’t worn a jock since hockey when I was a teen. These are excellent for keeping thinks where they need to be during sport. Price was great, comfort once you get used to straps on your behind is comfortable and finally the material all around seems well built and sturdy.

Keeps everything in place

I bought them for my regular cycling. As I have thick legs, regular underwear makes me feel a bit uncomfortable while exercising. Fabric is ok, feels a bit rough at the beginning but you get used to it. Thick elastic waste band, and straps put the right amount of pressure. Pouch seems to be on the tight side, but I like to feel snug in place. Good value for the money, ordered more.
