Good

I considered purchasing an expensive seasonal affective disorder light. However, after seeing how reasonably priced these light bulbs were I decided to give them a try. So far I think that the bulbs are doing their job. I tend to turn them on later in the evening and I think they helped my mood. I will purchase them again. And these will likely be the standard bulbs that I use around my home.

Lasted about 18 months

I bought these bulbs to help me stay alert while working the night shift, and it worked! I only worked nights for about 3 months, using the bulbs for maybe 7 hours/day, 4 days/week. Since then I only use them sparingly, when it’s gloomy weather. One bulb developed a strange buzz about a month ago, and today the other suddenly went to about half brightness. Pretty good while they lasted, but a little pricey to only last 18 months.

Works great for me but that part was more noticeable when you forget to turn it on.

At first I thought it was nothing but making my room a bit brighter, which is a good basic steps for any lightbulb, but I didn’t see much of a difference. That was until I forgot to turn it on one day and could see how dim and warm-hued my room was and how sleepy I felt. Any time during the day I feel super sleepy and shouldn’t, I try to remember if I turned the light on and most times the answer is a no. The bright light definitely makes a difference in my awareness that is more noticeable in its absence. I now have it hooked up to a smart outlet to be on when I wake up and go off about two hours before bedtime so my brain can start winding down.

Great Light but Didn't Last a Year

The light emitted was great. Plenty of brightness and full spectrum. My only disappointment is that the first of the two bulbs went out after only 10 months. I generally expect more from and LED and for bulbs that you are paying $8 a piece. However, overall I am still satisfied with the product and will likely buy the same product again.

can see so much better now :)

Using this bulb for a week now. Really happy as I can see so much more clearer than with identical wattage regular bulbs. I work out of my basement, no matter how bright it was, the camera always picked up dull grainy video. This bulb has changed the way I appear in the online meetings. Moreover, I can read the fine print in the utility/medical bills so much clearly now.

Excellent

I have to take medication at night that makes it difficult to wake up in the morning. I use several music alarms along with a Phillips dawn-simulating alarm clock (which I love). However, those aren't enough. I keep an additional desk lamp on the nightstand with this light, and once I'm 50% awake and groggy, I turn it on to help me wake up--and seriously it works. Within about 5 min, I'm awake enough to get up and start moving around. The light is pretty bright but not blinding, and it definitely helps my brain wake up. I also use this during winter months to offset seasonal depression and fatigue. Same process, great results. And much less expensive than some similar products.

Not a warm tone light.

For the price, it seems good. Very white light, not warm toned at all, and comes on to full brightness immediately. I bought this for my bedroom and living room because everyone is affected by the fall/winter lighting in my house. The light in my bedroom has multiple bulbs for different purposes. The arrow point to this bulb. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, we’ll see how well it works in a few months.

I can read the paper etc.much better. In morning I turn on both lamps with the ‘miracle’ bulbs and it brightens up a dull day. ????????
